Can’t really argue Eddie’s list, some good ones on it. I would add that I thought Winger and Hellyeah had very good albums this year too.
I’d add,
Mastodon: Once more Around the Sun
Opeth: Pale Communion
BLS: Catacombs of the Black Vatican
Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways
New Foo Fighters album was a major disappointment to me. I love that band but Sonic Highways was just not very good IMO
Yeah, it’s a good list. My list would have had Sixx A.M. right at the top! Honorable mentions for the Black Veil Brides IV and Adrian Vandenberg’s Moon Kings.
All You Can Eat- Steel Panther
Oops, I forgot to mention The Essential Richie Kotzen, even though it is a compilation.
However, it is REAL music made by an accomplished musician, NOT a parody band with incredibly sophomoric lyrics that aren’t even remotely funny.

How’s about a little love for Sister Sin’s “Black Lotus” or Nashville Pussy’s “Up the Dosage”.
