These might be good albums but my scope of “hard rock” is much larger…. I include albums by the likes of drive by truckers in my best of 2014. I like southern rock style music which is never mentioned here. Also Ed’s list doesn’t include Motorhed’s aftershock … wtf?
Probably because if you’ve listened to one Motörhead album you’ve listened to them all. Same goes for AC/DC.

Judas Priest, AC/DC and Whitesnake’s Live in ’84 Back To The Bone (Sykes!!!) were the only 2014 releases that I cared about, but thank you for asking me. 🙂
