  1. I will disagree with some of the comments about rock is dead. I saw screaming for vengeance tour when I was 13 or 14 years old. I remember one of my uncles dropping me off in San francisco with a buddy. It definitely was a different experience then and I’m fortunate to have a sweet copy of a concert from that tour that came with a box set. So cool to look at after all these years. There is something to say about that whole period in time. I think about 82-83 and I think of the iconic albums from that time. Screaming. Number of the beast. Blackout. To name a few. Will never get that back. I feel so cool to be one of the few people who understood “metal” at that time. That’s why I love this site, the people who I respectfully agree and disagree with. We all have that cool bond. Priest will never be priest in 83. Maiden will never be maiden in 83. Some great new music from great rock bands that came out of that period. Saxon is still pumping out killer metal. As good as crusader, power and the glory. UFO. Vinnie Moore has made great records with UFO. Check all those albums out. Accept has 3 new killer albums in 3 years. I’m babbling on now. But metal is alive and well. Enjoy it while we can. If halford is still trying to scream, that takes balls!!!!!! Can’t wait for the show in San jose in november.

  2. eddie, dream theater somgs are 11 minutes long.they played for 2hours and 20 minutes, with a break,i/e RUSH.priest songs such as breaking the law are 2 and a half minutes.metal gods 3.a few are 8,not all of them, sorry eddie.the metal god has to play GRINDER,HEADING OUT 2 THE HIGHWAY,DIAMONDS AND RUST,GREEN MANALISHI.ELECTRIC EYE,THE SENTINEL,DISSIDENT AGRESSOR.HES THE METAL GOD??????EDDIE.IF UFO DIDNT PLAY ROCK BOTTOM,U WOULD BE UPSET????ARE YOU STILL A FAN????OR JUST THE MIDDLE MAN BETWEEN THE BANDS.100 DOLLAR TICKET,30 FOR TRAIN TICKET.HALFORD MUST PLAY 20 SONGS.FORGET ALL OF THE EXCUSES,WHY.MIGHT THIS BE THE REASON MUSIC IS DYING,SHORT SET LISTS,LAZY ARTISTS??AND EDDIE TRUNK,TELLING US ALL IS FINE???????WITH THE METAL GODS 15 SONGS,PLUS 1 OUTRO?????SORRY EDDIE,RUSH AND DREAM THEATER ARE PLAYING LONG SHOWS,RUSH ARE LIKE 64 YEARS OLD TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

    1. I would love if UFO didn’t play Rock Bottom, the song goes on forever. DT is 15 years younger than Priest and plays evening withs as does Rush. You can argue all you want about what songs are in a set but when TONS of bands are doing 75 minutes it is insane to me people expect more from Priest at this age. They were going to retire!

  3. When I first saw the tour dates, I seen Duluth, but then noticed it was Duluth GA not Duluth MN. They haven’t been back since Defenders Of The Faith. Along with many others.

  4. we all know that Eddie would not say anything bad from a band (except actual kiss or ozzy) but the reality is that this is a f ing short setlist. and drop painkiller and electric eye is such a SIN. If they (or rob) ar not able to deliver what we are used to o deserve from the metal gods. Epithaph would be a GOOD goodbye of the stages. Very decent setlist on that your. Is a shame go to see Judas and stay wanting more. I regret buy my ticket form Phoenix gig, now a cant return it

    1. Agreed…only a handful of these older bands are even coming close to that…the new magic number IS 75 minutes…Priest doing 2hour shows is great…

    2. you know in NOT a 2 hours set. 90 minutes tops. and doing “you got another thing coming” 10 minutes long (with that boring intro) instead of 2-3 songs is not helping
