Gossip website Radar Online is reporting:

Former KISS rocker Ace Frehley might need to kiss his home goodbye after a bank has accused him of not paying the mortgage.

U.S. Bank National Association claims Frehley, who was the lead guitarist during the heyday of the famed heavy metal band, stopped paying the mortgage on his Yorktown, New York, house nearly two years ago, The Journal News is reporting.

In a February 15th foreclosure filing, the bank asked the court to order a sale of the house to pay for the outstanding principle of $703,581.48 plus other charges. In 2006, the rock star borrowed the money for a single family home on just over three acres that has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The 2,441 square foot house has two floors.

Records also reveal Frehley’s house has almost two years of unpaid taxes, according to The Journal report.

Frehley, 61, left KISS for good in 2002 after the group’s purported “farewell tour.” In a 2009 interview to promote his solo album, Anomaly, he said he had kicked drugs and booze.

  1. ACE is a rebel, lived on the edge from the beginning and still is and always will just the way rebel’s work, but feel for him and love his music, the spaceman will rebound when he returns back to the cords,ahh..im sure

  2. It’s Sad the danm bank waits 2 years after the fact to do something about it,it’s mainly the banks fault to have drug this thought the mud for so long,it’s partly Aces fault for the taxes too.

  3. I wouldn’t read too much into this .
There are millions of people that have walked away from their homes when they were under water. It’s called the housing market crash.
30% of the nations homeowners are still under water / upside down .

    1. The speculation about Ace is amazing by some. I know many will say I am just defending a friend, but the truth is nobody knows the real story here but Ace. I know nothing about his finances but can tell you he has lived in San Diego for about three years. So the perception that he is on the verge of homeless is not the case. But he has not lived in this house for a few years and sadly we hear about many instances where stuff happens like this for various reasons to all sorts of people and businesses. More to this than what is being reported I’m sure..

  4. Whos knows what this guy does with his cash, but dang if you have the money pay the fucken bill. For someone who has this fame and I guess fortune and lives the rocknroll life style and has the total disregard for what most of us deal with every month paying mortgage and bills, then Ace is totally at fault for his situation. There is a thing called a deadbeat.
