This song reminds me of something from Fly On The Wall album . Problem is that was my least liked album by AC/DC . Hope the rest of the album has heavier sound than this track , just not impressed . However with that said i am stoked they have a new album coming out , & of course will be buying it !!! Even though this isnt the best sounding song to me , its still like 1000x better than anything any band thats came out since about 1991 has put out ! Oh one more thing before anybody says anything , i didnt say i didnt like it , just compared to other AC/DC stuff im not impressed . For example, heck yeah i would pick a $5 bill over a $1 bill anyday , but in the end im happy with either one , because they are both still money !
A weak AC/DC track is far better than 95% of the new music out there π

I agree totally Dana. Acdc IMHO is the greatest rock and roll band ever. A lot of these new bands would be wise to study early acdc, especially 1976 to 1981. And then go see them live today and have your mind blown. This is what rck and roll is supposed to be about. Promised my son hs first concert will be acdc and I can’t wait to see them live again.
Kevin,
Then, you would LOVE Airbourne.
They are a bunch of young guns from Australia, who are so obviously influenced by the thunder from their homeland, it’s almost criminal. But, they are great in their own right. Just upbeat, no nonsense, no filler rock. Any chance I get to recommend them, I do. I have gladly turned a few readers on to them via this site. If you get a chance, please check them out.
Cheers.

Dana,
Totally agree with you on Airbourne. IMO they can be the true heir apparent for AC/DC. It would be amazing if they would come on tour together. Running Wild is one of the greatest songs. Anyone who likes good power rock needs to listen to Airbourne.
Cheers,
Joerg
Thanks, Joerg π
I agree. Great song, awesome album.
Cheers to you too,

It isn’t awful by any means but I don’t particularly care for it.
Well Brian sounds absolutly amazing !
I dont know if he quit smoking , has a vocal coach or what . I know as far as touring, on the BI tour they would never play 2 nights in a row even if the had back to back sold out shows to ease his voice.
I thought he sounded really good on BI but this sounds even better …. SUL and BB not so much……
As far as the song , it sounds like it came off BI the most. Not bad
I wish however they could replicate some of the great work after BIB …
FTATR thru BUYV had some great stuff on them…. Two’s up,Nick of Time,Thats the Way I Wanna R & R, Heatseeker,,Go Zone,,Stand Up, Danger…. Pretty much everything off all those albums…..( Can you imagine the lights down and ac/dc opening with D.T. or Chase The Ace ??
. For die hards I think Razors Edge and on even this and Black Ice, It was pretty much the beginning of an era that really has sounded the same.
The casual fan thinks it has all sounded the same lol . And it has to some degree but, the first 5 with Brian really had stronger material.
The track is strong, Angus sounds good, Brian’s voice is solid. I am ready to hear the rest of the album. I can’t wait 2 months!!
Meh, it just doesn’t have the intensity I was hoping for. π I guess these guys aren’t 19 anymore, but I was hoping for something with more energy, more like For Those About to Rock or Thunderstruck.
