AC/DC have released their first official band photograph to feature new guitarist Stevie Young. Young is the nephew of Malcolm Young, who he replaced in the band when Malcolm, 61, was confirmed as having been diagnosed with dementia.

The photo has been released a week after AC/DC were in London to film a video for their new track Play Ball. Drummer Phil Rudd missed the video shoot due to a “family emergency” and he is also absent from the new photograph. Rob Richards of Shogun filled in for Rudd at the video shoot.

AC/DC wiill release their 16th album, Rock Or Bust on December 2nd ahead of a 2015 world tour. To read more about Rock Or Bust and to view the track list, please click here.

Blow Up The Video tour band. Yeah, now we’re talkin’.

I thought Stevie was Angus & Malcolm’s nephew, it looks the other way around. I saw Stevie with AC/DC back in ’88 and he looked nowhere near that old. Yes that was 26 years ago but still. I do like Stevie though and wish him well replacing Malcolm.

As long as Angus and Brian are there, the arenas will fill up.

Unlike Gene and Paul where Arena’s can’t fill up…..oh wait, Gene and Paul and the rest of the band can’t even fill venues now …lols For “KISS” to ever play in a arena again they would need Ace and Peter again for that dream to become reality. Kudo’s to Angus and Brian. Totally professional muscians.

Stevie looks like “that guy” at the end of the bar that is loaded and tries buying drinks for the college girls, and still thinks the girls are interested.

So…the video shoot and press photo couldn’t wait for Phil…? Methinks the “family emergency” is Stevie being in the band…I could be wrong. We shall see…
