OZZY OSBOURNE SAYS THAT BLACK SABBATH WILL RECORD ONE FINAL ALBUM AND EMBARK ON A FAREWELL TOUR

OzzyOsbourne400 At a press conference at the Monsters Of Rock in Brazil (see video below), Ozzy Osbourne stated that Black Sabbath will record a final album to follow up 2013’s 13 and then head out on a farewell tour

He says, “The plan is that next year we’ll do the final Black Sabbath tour and album. I’m not stopping… my wife spends all my money so I can’t.”

Osbourne says that the plans “could change,” and adds, “We all live in different countries and some of them want to work and some of them don’t want to, I believe. But we are going to do another tour together.”

In related news, despite a previous announcement of The Osbournes returning to VH-1, VH-1 executive vice president Susan Levison tells The Hollywood Reporter, “We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that’s not going to happen..We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn’t come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We’d love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future.”

The Osbournes originally aired between 2001 and 2005 on VH-1.

Sabbath is just about done. With or without Bill, I’ll go see them one final time. Damn, all the great bands are either retiring or not far from it. Twisted Sister is calling it quits, Judas Priest and Scorpions almost did once before but who knows how long they’ll continue before retiring for real. Lemmy keeps getting sick, who can tell how much longer AC/DC will stick around, Motley Crue is on their farewell tour and now Rush is sending out mixed signals about their future. I’m going to see Rush on this tour, I’ve already asked off for work that week for it. But I had the sad thought recently that as I hold on to that ticket, will it be the last time I get to hold a Rush concert ticket in my hands? But this kind of stuff happens as our heroes get up there in age, Iuunderstand that. It still sucks, though.

Rush is the biggie for me. I’ll be gutted if they are done, but I understand.

I totally agree James. We won’t beat Father Time, but it sure does suck. I’m seeing acdc and the Crüe on this tour, and theres a pretty good chance I wont see them again. Who knows, maybe some new bands will take their place. Sure hope so. I do like a lot of new bands that are out now, but I’m skeptical that any of them will reach an iconic status like Sabbath or Acdc or Priest or Maiden. Advice to all upcoming hard rock and metal bands. Go see an acdc or Crüe or sabbath show as soon as you can and learn all you can from them. This is how it’s done kids. These guys are the real deal. You want to make it, follow their lead. Doesn’t mean you have to be just like them or sound just like them, but learn from them.

i agree with james,it is hell to get old,we will have only our memories and videos of our musical heros.i wish time could stand still sometimes,oh well a lot of people hate tribute bands, but if they are good ones,i love them,i get to see my fav band again,in there prime, and if they are good i tell myself that its that band, and were all in our 20s again, and life is good/….

Hopefully they’ll come near me on this final tour. Had a chance to see them in Phoenix on the last tour, but had to cancel plans due to a medical emergency.

Not much Ozzy says holds stock these days, be interesting to see what happens next year.
