Overkill is the best trash band out there and there albums have the best sound quality of any thrash band! Wish that metal show would have the guitar player on as guest guitar player considering Bobby’s the MC of the show right now so shouldn’t be to hard! Plus going to see Overkill is a lot cheaper than most bands since they play bars still and put on a amazing show!

The music kicks ass……but never a fan of the voice, but the music is excellent!

Blitz’s voice works very well with Overkill’s music. I don’t think that Blitz is a great singer by definition but he’s a great singer for Overkill. The voice is unmistakable and is the heartbeat of the band. Kind of like when you hear a few seconds of a new ac/dc song for the first time you know without a doubt who it is because of the Young brothers. The same holds true for overkill. Before I started watching that metal show a few years ago I was never really into overkill and was basically just familiar with hello from the gutter thanks to the headbangers ball back in the day. But that song & that voice stuck with me thru the years and thanks to Eddie t I now own all of overkill’s records and in about three hours I’ll be enjoying White Devil Armory!

That voice belongs to one of the best singers and frontman in all of metal! If you’ve never seen Overkill live then you can’t fully understand what I’m talking about. Overkill have been the most excellently consistent band in thrash. They’ve been my favorite since Taking Over first came out. I’m in the first thrash generation and it sucks they don’t get the recognition the Big Four do. But the great thing about Blitz and the boys is they obviously love their life, love their band and love their fans and don’t seem bothered by anything else. No disrespect to Judas Priest or Accept or any other band putting out albums recently, but Overkill’s new album is the one I’ve been the most excited about. BRING ON THE WRECKING CREW!
