GUITARIST ACE FREHLEY ON A KISS REUNION, “ANYTHING’S POSSIBLE”
Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley was a guest on Eddie’s Sirius/XM Trunk Nation show on September 16th once discussing the possibility of a KISS reunion.
Frehley said (as per blabbermouth.net), “Anything’s possible — I’ve always said that. That’s the first question so many people have asked me over the years: ‘Would you ever consider doing a KISS reunion?’ I said, ‘I never closed the door on anything.’ If the money’s right and it’s presented to me in the right way, anything can happen.
I’m on good terms with Paul [Stanley, guitar/vocals] and Gene [Simmons, bass/vocals], which is nice, because we created something really special in the early ’70s that has outlasted so many other bands. And God bless ’em. They’re still doing it; I’m still doing it. Peter [Criss, drums] is still around. I’m not quite sure why Peter hadn’t toured over the years as much as I have, but it is what it is.”
KISS have recently announced dates for their second Las Vegas residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. The dates are as follows:
December 2021: 29, 31
January 2022: 1, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 29
February 2022: 2, 4, 5

I wish this chatter of “anything is possible” from Paul, Gene and Ace would just stop. Money will always be an obstacle. “For the fans…” yeah, right………..
I for one would like to hear ace talk about the lip syncing kiss is doing ,he won’t talk about it… very curious as to why, I haven’t heard eddie ask him about it …they are good friends , I would love to hear ace’s take on it –
The anything is possible line is nonsense..
Ace wants to be paid, because it’s a guaranteed sold out show everytime he sets foot on a stage with kiss , paul and gene won’t acknowledge that because it’s not what their selling… they say it’s the character that matters not who wears the make up, Total horse s__t and of course they won’t pay ace fairly either ~
At this point I just rather see Ace live! I have Vol 1-3 on dvd. I saw him a couple of years ago and I never seen my friends so excited at a rock concert after seeing many bands with these same friends. Ace just shreds on every song then rips into a Kiss song! Amazing!!! Usually I get bored at my age at a concert after a few songs but I did not want Ace to leave the stage!! I dont need to pay big bucks to be far away listening to recordings. This new Destroyer 45th anniversary could have been a lot better. The short live concert has only 3 songs from Destroyer on it. I would of loved to see on video the making of Destroyer if anything exists from back then.
Anything is NOT possible. The money will never be right because Gene/Paul won’t share profits equally with Ace (and why should they?). This is Ace’s extremely transparent way of signaling to Gene/Paul that he’s always willing to entertain their offer to rejoin – if he gets an equal share. So no, anything is not possible.
