FORMER KISS GUITARIST VINNIE VINCENT CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY WITH FANS IN NASHVILLE, TN
As previously reported, former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent was reportedly planning to celebrate his 67th birthday at a private event for select fans in August in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to blabbermouth.net, the event did indeed take place on August 10th at S.I.R. Studios and consisted of “six hours of stories, music, photos and fun.”
Several photos from the event have been posted on social media, along with a YouTube video, but the clip has since been taken down. Pictures can be seen below (courtesy of the Rock n Roll Experience with Mike Brunn twitter account).
The official announcement of Vincent’s birthday party comes just a month after the cancelation of his performance at the Speedballjamm, which was scheduled to take place on June 7th at the S.I.R. Soundstage in Nashville.
I may just get some flak for saying this but The picture of Vinnie holding the guitar looks more like a picture of someone’s cool aunt. There I said it does it get any weirder?

SEE? I KNEW Vinnie “The Wiz” Vincent – my pant-suited Ankh Warrior – would prove all the naysayers wrong and show up to a paid appearance. Think of all the opportunities to ROCK that he selflessly gave up just to spend six hours with his 23 worldwide fans. No one – and I mean NO ONE – can stand on a stage looking like a guitar-wielding deer in headlights, while strumming gingerly along with a cover band in a dive bar as they butcher “Lick It Up.” And just look at those pictures! Vinnie is holding a guitar and smiling. Do you non-musicians realize how technically difficult it is to hold a guitar and smile at the same time? Yeah, you try it! Clearly, Mr. Wiz has been practicing holding a guitar – just look at his chipped nail polish! So good to see the Ankh Warrior smilin’ and posin’ and…did I say smilin’ already?…

I don’t want to sound like I’m bashing , but I guess I am…. IMO. charging people $300 bucks to come to a birthday party you threw for yourself as a money making opportunity- is as shady as it gets – he didn’t cancel this time – but he also didn’t have to do anything but walk in – is getting an autograph from Vinnie worth $ 300 – I guess to some people it is – I heard the turnout was very sparse 20 something people – He probably covered the room rental – I hope the people who showed up for this felt it was worth it and had a good time-
