Duff McKagan has released a stunning concert video for Don’t Look Behind You, captured during his recent sold-out show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, watch it below.
Don’t Look Behind You is featured on McKagan’s critically acclaimed new album Tenderness, which can be heard here, and the song, Chip Away, here.
Tenderness sees McKagan reflecting on his experiences traveling the globe over two and a half years on Guns N’ Roses’ Not In This Lifetime tour. Encountering heartbreak, anger, fear, confusion and divide on his travels during this tumultuous time in our world history, McKagan channeled a collective hurt into songs of monolithic power.
McKagan has also created a campaign that puts the album’s themes into action and he’s inviting fans to join him in an effort to give support to organizations doing great work. You’re absolutely right, it is a tremendous album and this song is a fantastic closer
I remember an episode of TMS, where Eddie showed a video clip (possibly from MTV) of him at his residence during his peak partying days, and Duff looked bloated, pale and sickly. He couldn’t barely stand to see himself in that video. He looks 100% better now, and thank god he got it together. He was recently interviewed on Sammy’s show, and said how close he came to loosing his health all together. He said he didn’t drink water (only alcohol) for like 12 years.
