Geezer Butler, Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne’s health issues have temporarily forced Black Sabbath off the road. The band had to cancel their show in Edmonton, Alberta and Calgary, Alberta.

“Due to extreme sinusitis with Ozzy Osbourne the shows in both Edmonton and Calgary have been postponed,” they wrote on Facebook. “Details regarding rescheduled dates will be announced as soon as they are available.”

Black Sabbath are currently on their The End tour, which they launched kicked two weeks ago in Omaha, Nebraska.

The band is expected to resume their tour on February 3rd at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

“Nobody’s Fault” of course, but I’m sure somebody will blame Steven Tyler for this… or Sharon.

I suppose it’s ok for Ozzy to not be in perfect health to tour but not ok for Bill Ward.

Andrea Bocelli, he is not…..who would notice?!

Not everything coming from the Sabbath and Ozzy camp these days is credible, but I believe the official reasons for those cancelled dates. Alberta’s dry winters are extremely tough on the sinuses, especially for a man Ozzy’s age.

Ya I spent 11 years in Alberta and it can be tough this time of year. They just did the Canadian prairies which although has been milder this year, is going to be tough for guys who aren’t used to that type of winter climate.
