Ace Frehely admitted that he once punched, former KISS manager and current guitarist, Tommy Thayer, in the face.

“That’s really out of character for me,” Frehley said during a “live conversation” at Hollywood’s Musicians Institute on September 25th [as per

He continues, “What happened was, we had an ongoing rule on tour that there’s no women allowed in the dressing room. When we’re getting ready, we don’t want anybody… we don’t even want guys in there. We had a standing rule that no girlfriends or anything are allowed in the dressing room. I had a girlfriend with me β€” a model from Canada, and, of course, she always had to wait outside. When Shannon [Tweed-Simmons] and Paul’s [Stanley] wife came on tour, they just pranced into the dressing room. I let it go β€” I didn’t make a big deal out of it. But now, this is the last day of the tour in Australia. Everybody has left the dressing room. Paul, Gene [Simmons] and Peter [Criss]… was Peter there, or was it Eric [Singer]? It’s not important to the story. They had all split, so my girlfriend was standing outside, and I said, ‘Hey, honey, come on in. Nobody’s here.’ Five minutes later, Tommy Thayer comes walking in and goes, ‘Ace, you know the rule β€” no women in the dressing room.’ I go, ‘There’s nobody here. It’s the end of the tour.’ He started being authoritative with me, so I gave him a shot. I got aggravated. I guess the Bronx boy in me came out.”

Ace Frehley’s forthcoming new album, Spaceman, is due for release on October 19th through Entertainment One (eOne).

…..And we are surprised Gene and Paul aren’t begging him to be in KISS again.

Maybe Ace overreacted, but that was bullsh-t! Another example of favoritism.
    – “or was it Eric (Singer)?” Good one, Ace! LMFAO!!!

‘was Peter there, or was it Eric [Singer]? It’s not important to the story’
-and thus Ace Frehley sums up Peter Criss’s time in KISS.

Come on, Bro, you know what Ace was talking about, Ace is a jokester. And Peter’s time in KISS was very important, well it was to me, and to most. Yes, he marched to the beat of a “Different Drum,” (like most cats do) but he did help KISS march all the way into the record books!

      Watcha talkin’ bout Willis?

LOL! Dana, you must be watching “Diff’rent Strokes!” Ahh the 70’s, those were the days! (Different show) πŸ˜‰

Well, you mentioned the “beat of a drum,” and I immediately thought of that theme song.

Since 1977, I can never get the theme song from Three’s Company out of my head! – “come and knock on our door…” Drives me crazy! πŸ˜‰
What a year ’77 was, – Three’s Company, The Love Boat, Love Gun, Smokey And The Bandit, Star Wars, and of course, KISS Alive II!

Ahh, nostalgia. BTW, I loved Three’s Company, John Ritter was a phenomenal comedic actor.

Tommy Thayer – the Doug Niedermeyer of Kiss.

Is it me, or would this be considered Ace’s biggest hit ? πŸ™‚

      Rim shot.

Ok, after being socked in the head, what happened……..? Thayer ran, argued, what…..? Heard the one sided story many, many times, now. No witnesses at all, anywhere…….nobody heard anything…..? Maybe they KISSed and made up…..ahhh…
