    1. Would be strange if they had not known, and as short as this message is, to me in between the lines it sounds like they are already prepared in the event that Phil will not be available next year.

  1. Between Malcolm’s illness and Phil’s stupidity, along with the retirement by the Allman Brothers Band and the death of Jack Bruce this has been a pretty s***ty year for rock n roll. AC/DC will carry on with out Phil, but still disappointing.

My head is still spinning regarding the news about Phil.

Dana, I am interested in your thoughts on this matter with Phil.

    1. Hi Harry,

Thank you for asking me 🙂 ,but unfortunately, I don’t have much to offer. I cannot presume to make a judgement until all of the facts have been presented. I will say, that it is a sad, shocking, and somewhat perplexing situation. I feel bad for the rest of the members of AC/DC. How much more can they take? Hopefully, it will be sorted out soon.

      Cheers,
      D 🙂

    2. Very well said Dana, your genuineness comes across as always. I feel bad for AC/DC everything has become complicated. However this is a band that has always faced adversity and come out on the other side. Let’s hope they can turn more negatives into positives.

  2. This one seems pretty cut and dry to me … Rudd should never be behind an ac dc drum kit ever again … Guys a law breaker and terrible PR for the band … Get a new drummer !

You know, I just gotta say, I just gotta say that Phil Rudd is innocent until proven guilty! That’s right people, innocent until proven guilty! And as you know at one time we wrote a song from the album LICK IT UP (slurp) called…NOT FOR THE INNOCENT! We invented innocence people! WHOOOOAHHHH! It isn’t like this guy ruined AC/DC people like Ace Frehley & Peter Criss tried to sabotage KISS! That’s right people, awww hey! The Kiss Army people, you people, believe in rock in roll!! So stand up for what you believe in, come on, get up, whoooooo!!! Before I get back to our residency here in Las Veg-KISS, I just wanna say that Tommy Thayer & Eric Singer, whoooo!!, are the reason we are now in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, owwww!! And remember, there is no I in team, but there is an I in KISS and I’m in control!! Good night people!!!

    2. I find it utterly hilarious that no matter what article I read on here, somebody is making fun of Kiss.

    3. I agree. AC/DC for me have always been sort of a blueprint of what a great rock and roll band should be. They’ve always seemed to keep themselves out of a lot of the negative press that often befalls a rock band. I even look at them as role models for younger bands. And I do think Phils one of the greatest rock drummers ever, and a big part of the iconic aced sound. That said this situation demands Phils immediate dismissal from the band. They are too close to the end of their stellar careers to have to deal with something as serious as this. Not that I condone it but it’s one thing to get caught with a little weed or a dui, quite another to be accused of plotting to assassinate 2 people, money doubt putting up
a tidy sum of money to do so. Not to mention, at least on the surface there is every indication that Phil has spiraled into crystal meth use, possibly addiction. They don’t need that garbage the on their tour. On what may possibly be their last record and tour, I’m quite certain there would be a long line of great drummers that would move mountains to be a part of that tour. Hopefully they don’t waste anytime, replace him and move on.

    1. Singer could again be an impersonator and take the make up design looking like Slade.
