1/28: JAKE E LEE PODCAST, TMS UPDATE, APPEARANCE IN NJ SATURDAY, MORE

Hope everyone is having a nice week. The huge snow storm turned out to be a total bust by me for a change here in NJ. Maybe 3 inches of snow. I’ll take it! NYC closed their crossings so it was good that I recorded my SiriusXM show Monday since it would have been impossible to travel. I will do my best to make up the Udo and Vinnie Moore interviews when my schedule permits. I am back live this Monday 6P ET for TrunkNation, more when we get closer.

My podcast tomorrow is my interview with Jake E Lee and Greg Chaisson. Some of this originally aired on my radio show about a month ago. Some very revealing stuff with Jake and he also talks very honestly about his time with Ozzy, the first Red Dragon Cartel show, his cancelling of gigs, Badlands and much more. It is as usual free and available to stream or download with Itunes or www.podcastone.com

Really ramping up now for the new season of That Metal Show. 2/17 is the night we tape the debut and you will see is 2/21 at 9PM ET repeating at 11 on VH1C. The mega debut guest will be announced soon as well as a first time appearance from a guitar virtuoso as our guest musician that was just confirmed!

I have a TON of appearances coming over the next few months including Rocklahoma, M3, MOR Cruise and many solo shows and shows with Don & Jim. It is so cool to come out and meet you guys and have some fun on stage. The support has been awesome! Everything on the home page as it’s confirmed and remember to visit ET’s Box Office tab on this site to enter to win tickets. Next show is this Saturday with Don & Jim at Mexicali Live in Teaneck NJ. Fun place and this is our second time there. Whitesnake guitarist Joel Hoekstra will be a special guest and more surprises being lined up. Tickets and VIP meet & greet tickets on sale now! www.mexicalilive.com for tickets and more info!

Checking out Marilyn Manson tomorrow night in NYC. Looking forward to it. Have been a fan since day one and it’s always a great live show!

My guesses: Either Angus Young or Eddie Van Halen on the set and Nuno Bettencourt on the platform shredding.

Ed already said on air he sent out an invitation to EVH and got the same polite decline he usually gets. Angus is a good guess, but who knows.

      maybe DLR?

  • Jason Falkinham on

Can you ask Manson why he’s completely turned his back on their first album? Portrait is such a great album and he plays nothing from it!

    • Carlos Perez on

      That is an awesome album!

  • Douglas Maher on

John Petrucci from Dream Theater lives like 45 mins away and has never been on so that’s my guess…Neil Peart as a never before guest would be tremendous.

  • D. Comiskey on

Need to know guests before I try to get any tickets!

Because I work for a network that decides when they want to release it not to mention the ARTISTS don’t want it out until a certain time so it doesn’t conflict with other things they are promoting press wise

People don’t seem to understand that for some reason. The network owns the show, so that’s how it is. I’m surprised Eddie get’s to do as much as he can for the show with regards to guests. Hopefully UFO can be on one day, I’m sure that would be important exposure for them. Their last couple of albums have been solid.
