12/23: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, LATEST UPDATE ON ALL KINDS OF STUFF!

Hope everyone is doing good and ready for Christmas! Everything full steam ahead here at the Trunk house. We host family for Christmas Eve, then to my Mom’s Christmas day. Great time of year even though it was 65 degrees last couple days here in NJ. But temps dropping now so feeling “normal” again! Hope you all have a happy, healthy safe Christmas for those that celebrate with your loved ones this week. A few quick things:

*Don’t forget the TMS Christmas party with me, Don & Jim that was postponed due to snow will happen this Saturday 12/28 at Dingbatz in Clifton NJ! Free tickets to Schenker at Starland while supplies last.

*I am coming to Houston! Just announced date 2/8 at Concert Pub NORTH. I’ll be doing a one man show telling stories, taking questions, live trivia with prizes and a book signing at the end. Plus live music. More dates TBA.

*Still tons of reaction and discussion on Kiss and the HOF on my comments section. One thing seems many are confused by. You can play with a band but that does not mean you were inducted. Who is actually inducted vs who joins and plays with the band are two different things. TONS of people jam at the HOF that are not included in actual induction.

*My KISSmas special that aired last weekend on Q104.3 with Ace Frehley airs on all my affiliates this weekend at the dates and times listed. This is the case with EVERY FM show I do on Q104.3. It will also be available on this site for members On Demand. Station list and streams here: https://eddietrunk.com/live-and-on-the-air/eddie-trunk-rocks/

*This Friday on Q104.3 NYC is my final special year end show spotlighting all music from 2013. SiriusXM show returns live 1/6/14.

*Thanks to all who ordered signed personalized copies of my books. Don’t forget the new book is now available as well straight from me signed. Hit book tab on the site for order info. Both books available now anywhere books are sold physical and digital. Also the sale in my merch store ends 1/1, so be sure to grab something now before the discount expires!

*TMS is back with ALL NEW shows starting 1/18 on VH1C from NYC. Guests TBA soon. Many cool and first time guests coming. Ticket info for the audience was released by VH1 and is online.

*Got a text from Rob Halford today saying to wish all my audience Happy Holidays and new Priest coming in 2014. Thanks Rob! Message delivered.

*MANY news shows added to my Presents list. Take a look and listen to my shows to win to get in as well.

Merry Christmas to all and thanks for your support as always! More soon. Off to play with my kids and the trains under the tree!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EDDIE! AS FAR AS KISS PLAYING (IN MAKEUP), I AGREE WITH ACE WHOLEHARTEDLY! AS FAR AS BEING THERE/ACCEPTING THANKS ON STAGE, HOPEFULLY EVERYONE CAN SAY A WORD OR 2 (BRUCE KULICK, VINNIE VINCENT).

Hey Eddie, now that the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is finally getting their act straight, who do you think has a better chance of getting in, Iron Maiden or Judas Priest? I would give the nod to Judas Priest based on their ‘metal gods’ status amongst many of us, even though Iron Maiden has a much broader audience around the world. Priest can no longer fill the venues like Maiden can around the world but I think their music (JP) is more in line with the music that made them so popular. The HOF always uses the phrase ‘musical influence’ to quantify the induction of some of the lesser known members (i.e., Laura Nyro, Spooner Oldham). Who has had more ‘musical influence’ than Rob Halford? Interested in your thoughts and anybody else who would like to chime in. Thanks.

Hard to say but after Purple Priest would be a no brainer to me. But won’t hold my breath
