10/15: THAT METAL SHOW UPDATE, JOEY KRAMER PODCAST
I know I typed this a few weeks ago but still getting asked almost daily (thanks for caring!) about new episodes of That Metal Show. VH1 Classic repeats the heck out of them but there have been no new shows since April. The network decided to put the show on hiatus until 2015 but there is now a firm plan for the shows return. We will once again be shooting from NYC and like last season be doing shows on a weekly basis. Meaning when a show premieres it will only be a few days old. No gang shooting like we did for a long time. The premiere date for the season debut is 2/14/15. Still way too early to talk about guests or audience tickets but as always I will post here when I have that info. All the things you guys ask for are the same things I want; HD, live performance, DVD, Itunes, etc, but I have no control over any of it. All 100% up to VH1 who makes all the calls. I wish we did the show on a more regular basis but again that is not my call. Everything comes down to the network and what they want to invest in with the channel. The good news is we will be back! Thanks for all the patience and support and more when I know.

Eddie, Is it true that you were a huge fan of Scott Muni? I heard that Scottso was an undercover metal head but hid it because he thought it would hurt his top40 image. What’s the real deal? Did Scottso blast Maiden in his headphones while playing Beatles on air?
I like how last season you guys did one show a week and premiered it the Saturday of that same week. Hopefully this year a blizzard won’t happen in NYC during shooting! I’ve seen an actual decent accumulation of fluffy, deep beautiful white snow in my hometown in Central Texas probably 10 times or less in my entire lifetime! Ugly rainy ice and sleet is mostly what we get here in the winter if we get anything. And because we aren’t use to weather like that here, everyone freaks out and acts like the world is ending. And nobody here knows how to drive in bad weather like that. I love it when people I live around act like we’re all gonna die and then they look stupid 3 or 4 days later and it’s nearly 60 degrees.
Eddie, I recently saw a comedy piece from you claiming that unnamed people from top rated 4th and loud asked to come on tms.Hahaha. Too funny. Gene n Paul are the only musicians on that show and they have told you to kick rox and pound sand each time you have begged. Evan Stanley told me his dad gets a kick out of the fact you had to settle for Space frehley and Peter Piss because the real deal has blown you off for years. One more thing: AMC is in HD! LOL

4th and Loud has had offers from several different networks to continue their highly rated show. Its just a matter of pick and choose. AMC is going back to what they’re supposed to be. American Movie Classics A&E is getting rid of the overplayed StorageWars. Paul n Gene may slide over there.

Wood’s story about Gene and Paul moving 4th and loud to another network is fabricated. Simply no truth what so ever. The truth of the matter is Gene/Paul & Co. will be LOOKING to present 4th and Loud to other networks for a future run for the show. As of today nothing no other networks have made any offers.

While I am in the Florentine school of thought when it comes to Kiss, I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned this story:
A guy named Shane just finished his run as a three-day champ on Jeopardy. Hes a retired military guy who now teaches in miltary college and is a Kiss fanatic! So much so, he said him and the wife dress up in full Kiss reagalia to go to concerts! Talk about smashing steotypes! And yes, Eddie, he did mention in his interview with Alex that Kiss had recently finally been inducted into the Hall of Fame
