Steel Panther has been on the road in support of their highest chart debut of their career, All You Can Eat. The album was released on Open E Records via Kobalt Label Services and stormed the top of the charts landing at #24 on the Billboard Top 200. The band also garnered their third consecutive #1 album on the Top Current Comedy Charts. The album is currently available at all physical and digital retailers or can be ordered via SteelPanther.TV. All You Can Eat was produced by Jay Ruston and Steel Panther.

Steel Panther was, for a long time, rock’s best-kept secret: a cult legend on the LA scene. But in recent years due to the success of their albums (all of which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Comedy Album Charts), and live shows, the band has enjoyed huge acclaim from fans and peers alike. Steel Panther has been joined on stage by a who’s who of musical icons such as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Paul Stanley of KISS, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Billy Ray Cyrus, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Green Day to name a few. Steel Panther has also been seen on Dancing With The Stars, Bad Girl’s Club and most recently in a national web campaign for Warner Brothers Pictures hit film, Rock Of Ages. The band played to the largest crowd of their career this past June when they closed the Download Festival in Donnington, UK alongside Alter Bridge and Aerosmith.

Reformed UFO ’82 as the opener. Cinderella. Real deal stuff, not comedy.

If they were going to have an opener that still concentrates on the sort of mindless but fun goodtime party lyrics that dominated the 80’s scene, then Priest should have given a helping hand to Kix and brought them out on tour. One listen to the new single Love You With Your Top Down, or something to that effect, will take you straight back to 1988.

Yeah, Kix brought back ’88 but if you have a full house in Brooklyn paying good money, you wouldn’t want Kix, you’d want a Cinderella or a new band that really puts it out like Def Leppard ’81 when they opened fer Blackfoot when I saw them (yes Blackfoot!) at The Rainbow Music Hall in Denver.

Music is supposed to evoke emotion… Laughing is ok. Lighten up. Steel Panther will do just fine.

Emotion? People want bang fer their buck…let Cinderella do the noise and leave the comedy in Vegas or on the Sunset Strip. All originals kickin’ ass.
