GUNS N’ ROSES BASSIST DUFF MCKAGAN’S DOCUMENTARY “IT’S SO EASY AND OTHER LIES: LIVE AT THE MOORE” OPENS JUNE 3RD

Just weeks before Guns N’ Roses mount a massive arena tour – with classic-lineup members bassist Duff McKagan and guitarist Slash– bassist McKagan is putting out a documentary about his life story. The film, It’s So Easy and Other Lies: Live at the Moore, captures a special performance he held at a Seattle Theatre in 2013 when he was promoting his like-titled first memoir. It’s due out this summer.

A trailer, which is premier at Rolling Stone, and can be viewed here shows a mix of animation, performance and talking-head commentary, beginning with the story of how the bassist left Seattle for Los Angeles and ultimately met his Guns N’ Roses bandmates. Slash, Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx all make appearances and lend commentary.

It’s So Easy and Other Lies: Live at the Moore will open in theaters on June 3rd.
