BUCKCHERRY TO RELEASE “F@&K” EP NEXT MONTH

buckcherryfyou640 Buckcherry are to release the radio unfriendly Fuck EP on August 19th – with each of the six tracks featuring the four-letter word in the title.

It includes a cover version of Icona Pop’s I Love It, which Buckcherry have renamed Say Fuck It.

The EP is the band’s first release since 2013’s album Confessions.

Singer Josh Todd says: “I’m a huge fan of EPs and I had a lot of them when I was a kid, so it’s going to be fun to put this one out. It’s nasty and it’s raw and it’s quintessential Buckcherry.

It was a lot of fun writing it and it was great to do this EP for me after doing Confessions, because Confessions was so heavy and deep and this EP is just reckless and fun. It’s probably one of my most fun little projects to do.”

Fuck tracklist:

1. Somebody Fucked With Me
2. Say Fuck It
3. Motherfucker
4. I Don’t Give A Fuck
5. It’s A Fucking Disaster
6. Fist Fuck

    Just Brilliant!? Move over Hemmingway….

Well there’s one release that won’t be getting any airtime on terrestrial radio.

Yawn….When you can’t write anything worth hearing, kill em with sensationalism. “Fuck” this boring band.

You got it, they are one of the world’s most boring bands. Awful butt rock aimed at the lowest common denominator of rock fans. Trunk’s advocacy of these hacks blows my mind.

I don’t even know why Eddie Trunk promotes some of this garbage. These new bands really suck. I’m 50 and will take my old rock any day.

I happen to like the band very much and in 31 years of radio have ALWAYS promoted newer bands that fit what I like. I once interviewed this new band in 1988 called Skid Row…

Overkill released an ep called “Fuck You” and then I think it got re-released as part of a compilation called “Fuck You And Then Some”. That’s slightly more clever than what Buckcherry is doing. But Van Halen wins this contest by releasing “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge” and proving how stupid most people are because that’s the term the word “fuck” is derived from. That album was openly sold everywhere, went to #1 on the Billboard Chart and won a Grammy.

Wow! Totally not impressed w/this. I have no prob w/bands swearing ort using the F word in a song or even in the title of a song ala Skid Row/Get the fuck out but to do this on every song just screams to me “Hey, we’re totally irrelevant at this point so we’re gonna be totally outrageous to get attention.” Think I’ll pass.
