VAN HALEN PERFORM “PANAMA” AND “RUNNIN’ WITH THE DEVIL” ON “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!”

VanHalen2012 As previously reported, Van Halen performed live on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (March 30th). Watch their performances of Panama and Runnin’ With The Devil below.

Kimmel stated that six thousand fans lined up on Hollywood Boulevard to see the band. Unfortunately, Roth reportedly had to call an abrupt stop to Panama, when he announced that he had injured his nose on his microphone. “Let me get this taped up,” Roth said, making an apologetic exit from the stage. “How do I look? Like fucking Hiawatha, right?” Roth joked.

The band is promoting their new live concert album, Tokyo Dome Live In Concert, which is out today (March 31st). Van Halen have also announced tour dates starting July 5th in Seattle, WA and wrapping up on October 2nd in Los Angeles, CA. To view their entire tour schedule, please click here.

Also, in honor of Van Halen appearing on the show that night, Kimmel asks during a man-on-the-street segment, “Do you have a Van Halen tattoo?”

Van Halen will be back tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for their second night of a two night appearance on the show.

  1. I can’t believe Roth still hits the partying that hard at his age. I have this theory that the Van Halens like having Roth because they have a party buddy, whereas Sammy would be all up in their faces trying to get them to cool it. Or, Roth is just very agitated that he doesn’t have Michael Anthony’s vocals to lean on, just check the look on his face during “ain’t no stoppin’ noowww” But Roth, he has t take better care of himself, forget the singing, I wonder if he even wants to be alive much longer.

  2. What they could do is just bring out three female backup singers, put them onstage, have them dance around, Roth could make them part of the show…problem solved.

  3. Terrible! Dave looks like it’s the first time he’s been on a stage! I don’t want to hear anymore crap about how bad Paul Stanley sounds after hearing this mess. I know Paul has his issues but he sounds like Dio compared to this! I saw Van Halen back in the day with Dave and no, he did not sound bad. Always the showman yes but at least he could sing then. Now we know why they perform few and far between.
What a hell of a summer for this tour.

  4. Ok look I agree with some comments here…Dave has always been show man first.. and yes i miss MIKE. But cmon if your dad and uncle were eddie and alex youd want to play in there band.. Van Halen has and always will be about Eddie. And unlike alot of bands they have been around awhile and always will be long after their careers. Love em or hate them you have to appreciate thier footprint on Rock& Roll
