A real “supergroup” of 4 amazing musicians. huge A+ for this song. Michaels golden voice, George sounding classic, James and Brian pounding it. Totally looking forward to this album in February. Alll rockers keep the faith and keep buying your favorite bands music!! Let them know we still want to hear it !! New Stryper, Accept, J.Priest, and Kix all awesome
Well it’s way way better than his last project-band KXM but the name is well..Sweet Lynch??
At least put it as Sweet/Lynch .. George where is the T&N 2 CD?? that was an awesome release.
Geez, disagree 100% I prefer KXM to the glam metal sounds I hear on this. At least KXM had some originality.
You got your wish. The correct name of the band is Sweet & Lynch. It appears all the outlets had it wrong.
Dana from EddieTrunk.com 🙂
That is better than Sweet Lynch, which sounds like a bad wrestler’s name or a bad 70’s movie pimp’s name. In my opinion, they should have come up with a band name that didn’t include any of their last names.
Yes the riff is VERY close to Wasted Years … that was my immediate first thought.
I do like the overall production. I dunno … dare I say … seems like a 9/11 cash-in? I know it’s been a while, but is that good or bad? And I agree with the earlier “too much Sweet” assessment … maybe just lay off a bit Mike. 50/50 on this one.
Would have rather heard another KXM or Souls of We from lynch. Sweet stick with Stryper. I also agree the into and chorus riff is maiden.
Well, I agree with the Maiden riff rip off. It’s not a bad song, I think the lyrics are distasteful and it smacks a bit of cashing on the 9/11.
I like Lynch’s riffing, and Sweet sounds pretty good. It’s a glam metal derivative, nothing really original here. It’s ok.
