Sounds like Stryper….no difference at all.
Good music, but I have the same problem with this as Stryper’s last album. No More Hell to Pay was great but my issue is Michael feels he has to sing over every part of the song leading to a lot of “Whoa-whoas and Yeah-yeahs”. I’d much rather just hear the riff and not that in every song. They could have picked a better topic for the song too, rather than trying to keep cramming freaking 9-11 down our throats. That’s what the mainstream media is for.
I agree with the “you can stop now, Michael” thoughts. I think that it’s (surprisingly) a decent tune.
Absolutely awful. I would rather pick the peanuts out of my c–p than listen to Michael Sweet’s voice. The other three guys are ok but his voice is unbearable.
With all of the patriotic themes, I am sure Ted Nugent is on board. This is garbage, pure and simple.
Good Lord, that was great to listen to. Never get enough of Sweet’s voice. Great tribute to 911.
Is it me or does the into sound like Wasted Years by Maiden???
Your right.
It does sound like the intro to Wasted Years. It’s accented differently but otherwise it’s the same notes as Wasted Years. Probably just coincidence, but you never know.
This kind of stuff happens more often than you may think. If you get a chance to listen to the Dark Angel song Darkness Descends from the album of the same name, there’s drum patterns and ringing chords in the first minute or so of the song that are identical to Metallica’s One, only the Dark Angel song is two years older.
