Harnell did a great job but the production is awful cause it sounds like a demo but maybe that’s what they were going for. They or one guy must really hate Bach to not get back with him for at least one concert or tour!

Sounds like KI$$ re-recording “Shock Me” with Tommy Thayer on vocals, only without everyone complaining about it. And on that note, why wasn’t there an uproar over KI$$ re-recording “Beth” with Eric Carr on vocals on the “Smashes, Thrashes & Hits” 1988 album?

Tony sounds amazing singing “18 and Life” and I am glad they kept it very true to the original recording. I have been a Tony Harnell and TNT fan since the beginning and I couldn’t be more excited about this. Besides a full Skid reunion, I think Tony is the best fit for the Skids. For me, it would have been harder for me to see Tony outside of TNT, but he has done enough side projects (Westworld, Morningwood, etc) that is not the case anymore. I can’t wait for a studio album and tour. For those out there that may not know much about TNT, go explore there back catalog, there is some amazing music there.

Hey kids, how do you keep your rock band relevant long after your star singer is gone and nobody can be adult enough to make it work? Hire someone that sounds just like him and re-record a hit song.

I always liked TNT because of LeTekro, but wasn’t a huge fan of the syrupy vocals of Harnell.

Really appreciate that great bands can find a way to keep making music and touring and really appreciate a chance to take a listen here….but with that being said the new Skid Row sound just doesn’t work for me. It is certainly not terrible and if you are new to SR I am sure you would be fine. Tough to be a close-minded, stubborn old guy but there you have it! lol
