  1. Not many of these put together groups seem like real bands to me. The only one in recent memory that I consider a real band is the Winery Dogs. It has nothing to do with whether the guys in the band have multiple bands or not. It comes down to how their chemistry musically is and how they seem to get along with each other and that they aren’t just gonna do one mediocre album, no tour and then split up. There’s too many “one and done” supergroup bands these days.

    As for Resurrection Kings, this song is good. It’s nothing special but it’s good. Nice, crunchy guitar and Vinny is a great drummer. Maybe they can make something out of this band. See, I can be positive to.

  2. Totally agree on Winery Dogs mention. It’s becoming hard to keep track, news ones are popping up every day. I’ve lost count of how many “projects” George Lynch is in, for example.
