QUESTION OF THE WEEK: AS PER POSTER RICH, WHICH ARTISTS DO YOU THINK SHOULD HAVE BEEN INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK N’ ROLL HALL OF FAME AND HAVE NOT BEEN YET OR YOU FEEL HAVE BEEN SNUBBED?
Agreed Dana. What a tremendous guitarist who made the biggest Whitesnake album such an amazing record. And Blue Murder simply kicked ass and showed what a truly well rounded recording artist he was. Then beyond that he seemed to be a pretty successful in the business side of the music world. As I posted on the other thread, I want to mention a couple of artists that didn’t get talked about on Eddie’s rock hall snub show. I just want to throw out there that it’s really dumb that the Motor City Madman is not in the hall. Ted would probably say that he’s not in it because the rock hall simply can’t handle him, and he’s probably right. Triumph is another band that deserves that recognition. Rik Emmett is an incredible guitarist and songwriter, they had many huge hits, and anyone that caught a Triumph show in the late 70s and early 80s knows that they put on one of the best concerts of that era. Lastly, like Eddie and I’m sure everyone on this site, Ronnie James Dio should definitely be in the hall. He clearly deserves to be in based on his solo career alone, but the fact that they inducted Black Sabbath WITHOUT Dio is, IMO, the single greatest indictment of the intelligence and competency of those on the selection committee. I mean, you let in Blaze Bayley with Iron Maiden, but not Dio with Black Sabbath? Really? WTF?

Totally agree,
RJD should be in, but the rock hall snobs have zero clue about what defines rock.
