OZZY, PRINCE OF RAP? OSBOURNE LENDS HIS VOCALS FOR POST MALONE’S NEW ALBUM

Post Malone has revealed the eclectic guest list for his upcoming album, with the rapper recruiting Halsey, Travis Scott, Meek Mill and Ozzy Osbourne for his new LP.

Osbourne – who hasn’t featured on another artist’s music since Black Label Society’s Stillborn in 2003 – recently spoke to Rolling Stone about the serious injury he sustained earlier this year and his efforts to get back in shape before embarking on a world tour in 2020.

”We’re just keeping our fingers crossed.” He pauses and a metaphor comes to him. “It’s like making a sculpture,” he says. “You chip away at it and it turns into this thing. You have to resculpture your life again.”

Who the hell is Post Malone? See, this is exactly what I’m talking about, you wanna know why rock has become a joke now? THIS IS WHY!!! When the hell are our rockers going to stop this sh-t?? Enough with “lending” these rappers your vocals, bad enough most rockers today “lend” their music and lyrics to these idiots, now they have to “lend” their vocals too? Shame on you, Ozzy!

They don’t have to do anything. I’m sure those who choose to lend their vocals are well compensated .

I agree rock musicians working with rappers or country artists is not helping rock at all – most of the collabs are awful and doesn’t even pass for music – but I’m not going to call them idiots- I don’t like rap at all but it is still creative art and they have every right to create it and make a living , there is a huge-loyal fan base for it , as well as country- so I’ll stop short of name calling – but Ozzy c’mon man … get your balls out of your wife’s purse-

I totally disagree, it’s not creative art at all! All they do is sample, and steal other people’s music and lyrics, no instruments, no vocals, no harmonies, it’s not music, or art, period.

    Hello Doug & everybody,
I can agree with you Doug. Okay Debbie Harry rapping about the man from mars & maybe Biz Markie rapping Just a Friend I can stand, but really I never liked the stuff & certainly can’t get into its clubbing, dealing, gang banging, smoking and stealing themes. All while cruising on 24 inch rims, 2 inches from the ground. Yeah I’m just a bore.
I would probably have more regard for it if I was just reading it as a sort of urban slam poetry, but even then it would grow monotonous. As far as Ozzy, rappers have sampled his songs and Black Sabbath as well. Good Night.

      Rob,

You forgot the misogyny content, as well. Also, I doubt you are a bore.

80s hair metal became a bore. Bands that I kind of like however seem to be about Partying : KISS, Bon Jovi, Poison, Motely Crue , Ratt, Cinderella and many others . Not all bands in the mid 80s were about hair spray, spandex , women and limos it just seemed like it . So when grunge became big in the early 90s most young fans wanted to feel something and see something different. If you so choose to brush tap with one stroke so be it. Not all 80s rock was about partying just as some rap gave voice to a group of teenagers that didn’t have a voice. Violence in America has been exploited since gangster movies of the 1920 with Jim Cagney and the rewards of such a lifestyle. God bless and keep rocking
