MÖTLEY CRÜE BASSIST NIKKI SIXX RESPONDS TO CARMINE APPICE’S COMMENTS BY TWEETING, “A WASHED UP DRUMMER SPEAKING FOR OUR BAND WITHOUT ANY OF THE FACTS”

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has reportedly responded to recent comments, made by drummer Carmine Appice, in which Appice stated that, guitarist Mick Mars, left the band because all of the live performances were allegedly “on tape…all planned out…[and he] didn’t like that everything was on tape.”

Sixx reportedly tweeted on March 15th, “Love how people talk FOR us without talking TO us. This is why the media has lost credibility. Obviously by printing BS they make money off of advertising and we’re not into that clickbait game. When the truth comes out it will be FROM üs.”

He later added, “A washed up drummer trying to speak for us? And bottom feeder media running with it to make money off of lies? Welcome to the sad new world of LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME.”

According to blabbermouth.net, on March 17th, Sixx took part in a Twitter question-and-answer session and was asked by one fan, “Is what Carmine Appice said true?” he replied, “A washed up drummer speaking for our band without any of the facts is as ridiculous as bottom feeder media running with stories without fact checking. When you hear the truth it will be from us.”

In December of 2022, Mötley Crüe announced August 2023 tour dates with Alice Cooper. To read Appice’s entire interview with Ultimate Guitar, please click here.

Sixx is an a$$hole. He lied when he signed a “Cessation of Touring” agreement. Sixx’s “truth” is as bull$hit as his “The Dirt” book. Sixx was too f-d up to remember the level of details in his book.

Looks like Carmine struck a nerve. Right or wrong, Sixx didn’t need to do that. Even if Nikki thinks it was disrespectful of Carmine to release Crue business to the press, there was no call for what he said.

Seems as if Sixx is triggered here and using ad hominem attacks to avoid answering the claim, which is “Do you now or have you ever used tracks in your live shows?” No need to demean and insult an iconic musician because you don’t want to answer the claim. His vitriol should be directed towards Mick who talked about it.

Let’s interview him and get the “facts” . Maybe they should start putting a disclaimer on their ticket stubs “”we’re here live but we don`t play live ” . Maybe introduce them as the” Laziest band in Metal” before every show . Why is he getting so butt hurt when they are transparent about using tracks ?
