Add Kenny Aronoff to the list! – nevermind, he’s already on it! 😉 GREAT drummer! Only seen him once in ’85 on Mellencamp’s Scarecrow tour, 1 of the greatest concerts ever!!

My pick is the late, great Cozy Powell.

Not a drummer (but I play one on TV)…and love this list – wish they had my favorite drummer….Stewart Copeland (the Police). Looks like a great event

Rock on, Wiggy! Stewart Copeland is 1 of my favorite drummers as well! As is Frank Beard (the beardless one 😉 ) from ZZ Top!

Doug – let me pay the compliment back – Kenny Aronoff is a beast behind the kit. Loved his work with John Courgar Mellonhead. 🙂
Actually I am writing this another favorite comes to mind Liberty Devito from the Billy Joel Band – incredibly underrated.

I agree, Billy Joel has always had a great band behind him! – Mellonhead ~ LMAO!!! He really is! Great artist/musician, always been a fan, especially from ’79 – ’93, I’ll be nice and leave it at that. 😉
