ORIGINAL BLACK SABBATH DRUMMER BILL WARD RELEASES UPDATED VERSION OF HIS SOLO SONG “BOMBERS (CAN OPEN BOMB BAYS)”

Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward has released a new version of his 1990 track Bombers (Can Open Bomb Bays), now re-titled Bombers (The Remake).

On September 1st, Ward shared a lyric video for Bombers (The Remake) and included a one-minute clip in which he revealed all the musicians who were involved in the song’s recording process.

Bombers (Can Open Bomb Bays) originally appeared on Bill’s debut solo album, Ward One: Along The Way, which was released in January 1990. The LP featured a number of guest musicians, including then-former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who sang on Bombers (Can Open Bomb Bays) and Jack’s Land.

    OK….

I think I prefer the original with Ozzy. I know what would have made the original even better: Ozzy on vocals – check. Bill on drums – check. How’s about a left-handed guitar player playing either a Gibson SG or Jaydee Old Boy SG through a 100watt Laney Stack of DOOM!!!! and a Bass player using either a Vigier or Lakland Bass guitar through a 100watt Hartke Bass amp?

Just a thought; and where could you find such people? 🙂 🙂

PS: I’ve even got the band name
