KISS’ GOD OF THUNDER, TAKES A TUMBLE

KISS bassist Gene Simmons took a tumble while performing with the band in Bozeman, Montana, at the weekend.

Video footage shows Simmons, 66, stumbling and falling on to his backside as the band run through a performance of Rock And Roll All Nite. It was captured by YouTube user Charlie Mulluk and can be viewed below.

Simmons recently said he would back Apple’s plan to disable iPhone cameras at gigs.

KISS frontman Paul Stanley recently said the band could make a new album, but admitted he knows fans would only tolerate new music rather than demand it.

The band are on the road on their Freedom To Rock tour.

I hate seeing that, he could’ve been seriously hurt if he really hit his head on the stage floor.

Gene fell on his wallet. So, he didn’t get hurt :o)

Seriously, glad to see he didn’t appear to get hurt. KISS, including this tribute band version of KISS, has always put on a very physically demanding stage show. It’s a surprise they have never really had a serious on stage injury as result of their stage antics. Keep rockin’, Demon. We need to keep it alive, cuz rock ain’t dead.

as i have said in the past ,im a die hard life long fan,and as ive also said,i wish they would pack it in.they are really making what used to be something really special a real joke at this point, but im glad hes ok,im sure i could not run around in all that gear at his age, hell im only 54 and i prob could not do that night after night for an hr and a half.i give them kudos for being able to still do that….

I’ll be seeing KISS again in September. Always great. And Zakk Wylde next week !

Gene Simmons is a class act, regardless of some of the cringe worthy moments he has had recently. He is a strong supporter of the US and the military and as a veteran, I am grateful for all he does. Glad to see “The Demon” was not hurt. Physically demanding show and he puts his heart into every one. KISS NEVER mails it in, regardless of the lineup.
