KISS ANNOUNCE FINAL SHOW AS JULY 17TH, 2021 IN NYC

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, KISS have revealed that their final concert will take place July 17th, 2021 in New York City at an unspecified venue.

The band made the announcement onstage prior to the second and final indoor concert of this year’s KISS Kruise, also stating that 90 new tour dates would be shortly confirmed.

“We’ve been on the End of the Road tour, and people have said, ‘When is the last show?'” frontman Paul Stanley said. “So, we’re here to tell you that the end of the road comes to an end on July 17th, 2021 in New York City.”

The current lineup – featuring Stanley, Simmons, Thayer and drummer Eric Singer – announced the End of the Road tour in October 2018. “This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t,” they declared at the time. “KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in. … Unapologetic and unstoppable.”

It just seems to me Paul is not that into Kiss anymore (see Asylum tour), and is simply going through the motions. I understand it; I have to turn off the radio for certain Doobie Brothers, Peter Frampton, and Elton John songs because I have heard them hundreds of times since the 70’s. That said, there is no way I’m going to spend hundreds of dollars per seat to watch Paul go through the motions and ruin the memories of seeing him at his best.

I have seen them twice on this tour, and it has been great shows. They look great and sound great. David Garibaldi opening up was even an awesome treat. For the encore, they played “Crazy Nights.” That was fun. But the big question is this: Will Mr. Trunk attend the FINAL show of his favorite band? I hope he does.

well at this stage of the game, and age,its a bold and optimistic move to say the least.they should be worried about making the next gig,not boasting about a show in 2 years….ughhhhh

kiss’s last show was the last time the original guys 4 played together – what honestly stuns me is that unless your living under a rock almost everyone who follows rock music even a little knows kiss is lip syncing and running multiple tracks ( vocals & music ) every night they play – and people don’t seem to care -they are paying for a live kiss show and are getting milli vanilli instead – the fact they are stretching this nonsense out until 2021 shows how little regard kiss has for its fans- and seeing how they are operating now on this end of the wallet tour makes me think Vinnie Vincent may have been telling a lot of truth about Paul and Gene –

I guess the rampant speculation for the next year and a half will be whether Ace and/or Peter will be invited to perform onstage with the current lineup for the final encore(s)….
