IRON MAIDEN’S “THE STUDIO COLLECTION – REMASTERED” BATCH ONE CDS AVAILABLE ON NOVEMBER 16TH
Parlophone Records (BMG in the US) will continue their reissues series of the Iron Maiden catalog with The Studio Collection-Remastered, covering the band’s sixteen-strong studio albums across their career to date.
Following on from 2014/2017’s black vinyl releases and 2015’s Mastered for iTunes project, The Studio Collection– Remastered will be released on the Digipak CD format, with the track listing matching the original UK releases. The recordings are taken from the same remasters as the 2015 hi-res digital releases. The albums will be released chronologically in batches of four, across a nine month period superseding the previously available studio catalogue and all titles will also be made available on streaming platforms. As a bonus for collectors, one CD from each batch of releases will also be optionally available in a specially artworked box featuring a 1:24 scale figurine and exclusive patch. In the November 16th batch, this will be The Number Of The Beast.
Maiden founder member and bassist Steve Harris says, “We’ve wanted to revisit these for a long time and I was delighted with the remastering we did in 2015. I thought it was the best that our albums have ever sounded and it was only right that we made them available on CD now too.”
The first batch is now available for pre-order now. Find a full list of releases below.

Looks great. I wonder how many runs there doing of these packages with the patch and figurine. They will be mine, oh yes, they will be.
Party on, Wayne! 😉
I really like the figurine and patch! I’ll pick up this Collection solely for them!
Me too, so cool, right??
In my opinion, Maiden always had the BEST album artwork, hands down.
I agree, Dana. Maiden’s album covers, and 7 inch singles covers, were always my favorites. I bought my first Maiden album, their first album, just cuz i loved the album cover. I picked it up at a flea market in Encinitas when I was a punk kid….well, I’m still a punk kid!
That includes the 45 sleeves as well
Huge Maiden fan, but if there are no new tunes here, why bother. How many times do they expect us to buy the same albums? Just sell the figurines.
You’re correct on all points, Thomas. But they need a gimmick to help promote and sell these new remasters. And it worked on me, cuz I think those figurines are awesome, so I’m gonna buy these remastered editions when released just for the figurines…and patch….but mostly the figurines.
Had 2 dig out my ” Maiden Japan ” album. Its seen better days. Copyright 1981. Great – now I wanna buy a turntable. LOL !
