GUNS N’ ROSES KEYBOARDIST LAUNCHES CLOTHING LINE
Hookers & Blow, the band led by Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed and Quiet Riot guitarist Alex Grossi has announced that their exclusive line of new official merchandise is now available exclusively online and in-store at Forgotten Saints LA.
“We are very excited to be taking the Hookers N’ Blow brand to the next level” says Reed, “The whole concept has become somewhat legendary over the past decade and one thing that has been constant throughout is the demand for merchandise, especially for stuff beyond just the standard black t-shirt”
The band recently celebrated the unveiling of the merchandise line with a string of July tour dates, including a Hollywood launch party at the legendary Whisky A Go Go on Wednesday, July 24th.

Richman that jacket is rype for a comeback. 28 years or so is long enough to keep that jacket in the closet. And speaking of Vinnie Vincent, he would be the next great guitarist in Jack Russell’s GW5 along with a couple of guys from King Kobra and maybe Mark Slaughter can sing back up based on Jack’s voice not being what it used to be. Or we can get that singer from Mr. Big. He has a quality that would fit nicely with Vinnie V., the dudes from King Kobra, Mark Slaughter, and lets go way off the map and throw the drummer from Warrant in there to finalize things. I don’t know any of those guys’ names. But they can ‘t be hard to find. Lets get the first addition jackets rolling along with the t’s, the bandana, and lets throw in the leg warmers that Joe Elliot wore back in the Pyromania days. Whats old is new again I always say.

It’s amazing how the Ex-Guns ‘N Roses line is being used by so many guys. Same with Whitesnake. Whitesnake has had like 8 drummers and God knows how many guitarists. G ‘N R hasn’t done squat with anything but the original lineup. This ain’t like being an alumni of Miles Davis in the 50s and 60s – you aren’t a musical genius cause Axl or Coverdale picked you up for one album or tour. Sorry guys. I don’t blame you for trying to leverage your past – however insignificant it was.
Great analogy to Miles members, Dizzy Reed ain’t Tony Williams, John McLaughlin,Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett,Mike Stern etc. Playing for Coverdale is almost like being in the phone book.

I agree, but all this GNR and Whitesnake talk is making me think there’s more potential to this than just Great White. I mean we could have several Guns and Roses. We could have Slash and Duff’s Guns and Roses, Steven Adler’s Guns and Roses, Matt Sorum’s Guns and Roses. How about the back up singer’s Guns and Roses. We could have John Sykes Whitesnake with opening act Rudy Sarzo’s Whitesnake, Steve Vai’s Whitesnake, Tommy Aldridge’s Whitesnake. God the possibilities are endless here. If these guys aren’t Simmons enough to make money off this, then we should be. Again I’m looking for investors, and I know Richman is already in. I don’t even have to ask him.
