GUITARIST VINNIE VINCENT SHOWS CANCELED

Former KISS guitarist, Vinnie Vincent, has sent a notification letter to the promoter that he will not be performing the concerts scheduled for Feb 8th and 9th, 2019 in Nashville, TN. While we cannot discuss the terms of the contract due to a confidentiality clause within the contract, we are shocked at this development, and it is, unfortunately, beyond our control. The matter has been turned over to our attorney.

As they say, it’s “now in the hands of the lawyers,” and we will update you as we can. Please check back regularly, as this site will be the only source for official updates.  In the meantime, every ticket and meet & greet order will be automatically refunded in full, and you will receive a confirmation email of your refund, before or by February 10, 2019.

We want to thank everyone who worked so diligently and tried so hard to make these shows happen. A lot of really good people were involved and tried to make these shows a reality for the fans.

Just dress Tommy Thayer up as Vinnie Vincent and perform those dates. I understand that Tommy is good at impersonating former KI$$ guitarists.

      LOL!!!!!!! Good one, bro! 😉
Why am I not surprised by this news? I knew the odds of this really happening were “A Million To One!” 😉

      Awesome post

If I were Mark Slaughter, I’d offer to perform at that venue on that date for free, just to make a point.

Did anyone seriously believe that Vinnie would perform at this show? In the most recent clip of him onstage somewhere (where he’s wearing makeup!), he’s barely playing guitar. The simplest explanation is he hasn’t touched a guitar in close to 30 years and just doesn’t have the chops. However, a little practice would solve that. So there seems to be some other issue that hasn’t been revealed or discussed. Anyone who heard Ed Trunk’s interview with Vinnie can make out that there’s something not right about the guy (and I’m not referring to his bizarre physical appearance).

They must not have offered Vinny a signable contract. Remember the ANVIL documentary when those guys didn’t get paid. These small venues are tough. Everything goes down to the last minute. Maybe tickets sales weren’t very good. Who knows? The guy’s been MIA since Bill Clinton’s first term. Maybe nobody outside of KISS fans know who he is or care for that matter. Too bad. This could have been inspirational. Good bye Vinny. It was fun. One last time:
A STREET HUSTLER WALKS BY ME
WHEN IM WALKING DOWN THE STREET
    MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS
    HE LOOKS ME UP
    AND HE LOOKS ME DOWN
    AND SAYS WHAT BE THIS
    AND WHAT BE THAT AND
WHY YOU GOTTA LOOK LIKE THAT
