The band just seems off – this singer as the focal point may be an issue, regardless of his live vocals… stage presence and stage persona are huge…and dude, if you aren’t in shape wear something a little more appropriate so you don’t look like a complete tool. Glad Jake is taking this show out and glad he is opting for tiny rooms. Mexicali LIve is a few minutes from me and I will definitely go out. That being said last time I was there it was for a friends 13 year old who was playing with his local School of Rock recital.
Much better…MUCH BETTER!!!!! Cant wait to see them live!!!
The singer was fine the next night in San Diego and the band was on to. They are only going to get better as they start playing out more. Jake is just shaking off the cobwebs. He hasn’t played out live with his own band in many years. I can’t wait to see the Raleigh show. Looking forward to the release of the album as well. Glad to have Jake back!
Sounded good to me…
Hey, I am rooting for Jake. I think we all are… just hope the rest of the guys step it up. The above vids sound OK – Jake is certainly playing great, I just have my doubts that this singer can elevate himself and thereby the band to the next level. I hope he can and does. That being said – more Ultimate SIn songs in the setlist please!
