Ratt’s Juan Croucier made its live debut this past Thursday, September 24th at the Token Lounge in Westland, Michigan. Fan-filmed video footage of the concert can be seen below.
As previously reported, Ratt’s Juan Croucier is made up of Juan Croucier (Ratt), Pete Holmes (Black N’ Blue), Mike Moore and Toni Aleman. The band will be playing songs from the Ratt catalog, exclusively. Read more here.
Ratt has been having some issues as of late. Drummer Bobby Blozter claims that he has taken control of the Ratt brand, forcing Guitarist Warren DiMartini to release his own statement declaring that Blozter is unauthorized to use the band’s name. Further more, former Ratt vocalist Stephen Pearcy has launced a solo career. He released a video for the song, I Can’t Wait, on June 8th. Click here to watch it.

I feel bad for Juan, but this is just horrible…horrible.
As long as I can get a tax receipt, I would consider paying a $5 cover charge to see this.
Is there anything that can be done to ward off this infestation of Ratts?
The dude needs to do what he needs to do to make a living. It seems like he’s trying to present this as a solo project, not as a Ratt tribute band project.
It’s sad when these bands splinter and ex band members form their own variants, trying to capitalize on the “brand name” of the ex band. It happens too often and we get mutants of LA Guns, Ratt, Venom, etc…
In my opinion, when band members are replaced, the band needs to continue to put out new, quality music in order be credible and maintain the “brand” name. To me, the “brands” of KISS, Guns & Roses, Foreigner, Quiet Riot, and Dokken no longer exist. I view these “brands” as nothing more than tribute bands and I will not pay my hard earned money to see any of them. I would much rather go see a real tribute band trying to keep the classic legacy of these “has been” great bands alive.
Have people no pride and no shame anymore?
RATT was one of my favorite bands through the 80s and beyond, but this is the final nail in the coffin. Hopefully that one track Steven cut with the band early this year gets released and they call it a career.
It was a great run.
