I agree Brandon Carbaugh. I think some of the blabbermouth followers made their way to ET website!
Just because one is a talented musician doesn’t mean one performs great songs. Here you have 3 extremely talented guys sounding like crap. If you like it, please enjoy. However don’t get blind sided by all the finger tapping. Based on your criteria of good music, Tony McAlpine should be a billionaire.
Yeah sorry some of us gave an unflattering opinion. Sorry, last I checked this site wasn’t called hurray for everything dot com. That’s the truth as I hear it. Believe the hype – yes, the new Deep Purple is amazing. Right up there with Machinehead. Trust me, these guys will tank. It’s amazing watching all the 1990s – 2000s rock musicians play musical chairs these days. It used to be a big deal when a name player formed a new group. Now it’s like playing poker and rearranging a crappy hand with no face cards. It doesn’t cut it.
Amen.
I think it’s a great mix of musicians and it sounds great. Good for them. I’d love to be able to play with these musicians that play musical chairs. I work 9-5. What do other people do for a living these days? Sit at a desk. Sell cars? I’m an electrical contractor. Exciting.
Hey, don’t get me wrong. My hat is off to anyone that can make a living with a guitar or other musical instrument. More power to them. But that being said, my time and money are limited and I’d rather listen to the best and not rehashed or mediocre stuff.
Haters are always going to hate no matter what the content is.
So because you don’t like something, you’re now a hater? That’s just a little biased. If you like it, good for you and enjoy. But like John G. said, my time and money is limited. These guys are all fabulous musicians. I just don’t like the three of them together.
Mush. 3 guys noodling solos. Try Chickenfoot for the extreme gathering of talent with hooks & riffs. This band sucks and they know it. I hate seeing this garbage. They will join other wandering musicians and do another band nobody cares about next year. Billy looks like he could join a Journey member in a casket, rough.
