Cinderella bassist Eric Brittingham and guitarist Jeff LaBar along with vocalist/guitarist Brandon Gibbs (formerly of The Gibbs Brothers) and drummer Troy Patrick Farrell (White Lion, Gilby Clarke) in a new band called Cheap Thrill.
Cheap Thrill brings you a sound flavored with Cinderella tunes such as Nobody’s Fool, Heartbreak Station and Hello Or Goodbye from LaBar’s soon-to-be-released CD, along with the newest song from Brandon’s solo record, This Town, which is currently featured on ESPN 2 for the NHRA season. This show is littered with popular covers and stadium rock songs.
When Cinderella isn’t touring, Gibbs and Brittingham have always found themselves working together off and on over the last five years. With the recent addition of LaBar, the Nashville-based group CHEAP THRILL made its debut on the Monsters Of Rock cruise in March 2013, with two more rock and roll cruises immediately following.
Brittingham and LaBar are pumped about Cheap Thrill and the opportunity to work together again and alongside Gibbs.
“Being able to transition from a three-piece acoustic show to a full band keeps the project fun and versatile,” says Brittingham. “It’s all about the music,” adds Gibbs. “We have finetuned a product that will appeal to audiences of all ages.”

LOL! You’re right, Eric had the gold standard of hair in the 80’s. By the looks of things, it might be making a return. In the photo, I noticed he went from the short black hair he’s had over the past several years to the blond and growing his hair long again. His hair reputation has far and beyond surpassed any of his individual achievements since the glory days as sad as that is, so he should just go with it and play up the “guy with the best 80’s glam metal hair” rep. After all it is a business and marketing helps it sell. Steel Panther does good business and they’re a contrived so called 80’s “hair metal” band. It’s time for the master to return and show the posers how it’s done.
We can only hope Nic that Eric returns to proper form and as you suggest, resort back to the glory days of great Cinderella music and even greater Hair!
jeffs playing on Freakshow S/T album was awesome…..very old school Cinderella, looking forward to this…and Tom Keifers new solo album is freakin awesome…it’s not Cinderella and it’s not supossed to be!!
eddie trunk’s radio show is sooooo…boring and hard to listen to with all the new music he plays..
now i understand that new music is important, for one we hopefully one day may get a classic guns n roses’ record,, but until then the radio listeners have to endure terrible new music.. the fans, know it’s how they make their living,,but eddie you are dumbing us that with that crap..with exception of new sabbath, and new ac/dc..everything else you play is not good at all…i bet the pay is good but the radio fans pay a heavy price..we get DUMBER ON EACH OF YOUR RADIO SHOWS….thankyou
Then don’t listen..it’s that easy
Then go somewhere else you fuckin whiner. Is there a gun to your head forcing you to listen?
Probably not, but his boyfriend will slap him silly with an ugly stick if he stops listening to ET 🙂
There sure a lot of angry, opinionated losers in this comment section. If the members of Cinderella choose to do what they do because they’re friends, then that is their business. No one here has a right to tell them to quit. If you don’t like what Cinderella is doing…then don’t participate. Most of you commentors are overweight, bald males in mediocre jobs with ugly wives…does that give me the right to tell you to quit life??
Wow, were you looking in the mirror before writing that?
I love Cinderella, they are a very talented band. also tom keifer’s solo album is awesome!!!!
