Bon Jovi have released a video for song, This House Is Not For Sale, which is also the title of their forthcoming new album, to be released in the fall. Watch the video below.
The single is also available for purchase via iTunes.
This album is the follow-up to 2013’s What About Now and will be the band’s first without any input from guitarist Richie Sambora, who left soon after its release.
The band’s last recording was the “fan” album, Burning Bridges, which was released last year.
Ozzy Osbourne is being sued by his former bandmate Bob Daisley for unpaid royalties
Osbourne’s lawyers have described former bandmate Bob Daisley’s $2million lawsuit against him as “harassment.”
Daisley played bass on Ozzy’s first two solo albums and has writing credits on the hit 1980 single Crazy Train, for which he says he is owed $2m in unpaid performance royalties.
He is now suing the Black Sabbath frontman and his firm Blizzard Music Limited for the $2m, a claim Ozzy will “vigorously defend.”
A statement from Ozzy’s legal teams reads, “For the past 36 years Mr. Daisley has been receiving bi-annual royalty statements and checks from Blizzard Music, totalling in the millions of dollars, which have been routinely cashed.
Mr. Daisley has audited Blizzard Music accounts over the years using several different auditing firms who found no discrepancies. He has previously filed lawsuits in the UK and the US and has lost on each occasion.
We understand that Mr. Daisley is now in retirement and that these funds are his main source of income, so it is his right to be diligent with his money, but after 36 years, this is tantamount to harassment.
We would have hoped that after 36 years that Mr. Daisley would have lost his unhealthy personal obsession and resentment towards Mr. Osbourne’s success. Blizzard Music and Mr. Osbourne plan to vigorously defend these proceedings.”
Crazy Train was the first single from Ozzy’s debut solo effort Blizzard Of Ozz and was written by Ozzy, Daisley and late guitarist Randy Rhoads.
Daisley is paid regular songwriting credits for the track and his lawsuit relates to performance payments only. He says that an audit carried out in 2014 shows Blizzard Music Limited has been “improperly deducting undisclosed fees before distributing royalties to Daisley.”
Daisley’s lawyer Alan Howard says, “While Mr. Osbourne was benefiting from the songs co-authored by our client, the audit shows that he was systematically short-changing Mr. Daisley.
Mr. Daisley had no choice but to bring this action to secure his fair share of the proceeds those songs have generated.”
The lawsuit is the latest blow for Ozzy, who is receiving treatment for sex addiction. His marriage to Sharon Osbourne is on the rocks after it was revealed he had been having an affair with his hairdresser.
Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is reportedly cancer free.
The Black Sabbath guitarist was diagnosed with lymphoma in December, 2011 and spent years undergoing treatment, even while the band was touring.
This week, at an event at the hospital in his hometown of Birmingham, England, Iommi revealed the good news.
According to the Birmingham Mail, the guitarist said, “I came back to hospital straight after we finished a round of European tour dates, and the good news is that everything is alright up to this point. The chemotherapy and the follow-up treatment appear to have done the trick – but I’m aware that it could come back one day.”
Iommi will continue to monitor his health with regular check-ups and blood tests. He’ll be finishing up Sabbath’s final tour starting next week on August 17th in Wantagh, NY. View the rest of the tour dates here.
Frank DiMino has confirmed that plans have begun to reunite his former group Angel for a handful of farewell concerts. The singer, whose new single and video Never Again both feature Angel band-mate and guitarist Punky Meadows, broke the news on July 31st via his Facebook page with the declaration, “Special Announcement Coming Soon. Hint: It’s ‘Angel related’.”
“All of this this so secretive, even I don’t know what it is,” Frank guffaws nervously when talking to Classic Rock from his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, so we inform the singer that a couple of months ago Punky had told us, “We couldn’t go on tour and be Angel again, that’s in the past. But doing two final shows to cap it all off, that’s something I’d never say never about.”
“I’m in full agreement with that,” DiMino affirms. “We’re not taking Angel back on the road again; it would be quite an undertaking to do just one, two three shows with the full stage show. So, should that happen then it’ll be in one place. That would be in America, but if it was financially viable we’d also like to play in Europe as we missed out you guys first time around – maybe at a festival. We haven’t debated the logistics of it all but everyone is interested and [plans are] in the works.”
The stars are aligned, it seems. And it all began back in May when DiMino and the rest of Angel – Meadows, keyboardist Gregg Guiffria, bassist Felix Robinson and drummer Barry Brandt – accepted an award at the Vegas Rocks! Hair Metal Awards – the first time in 35 years that the surviving members of Angel were onstage together (original bass player Mickie Jones died in 2009).
“Gregg [Giuffria] had intended to play on my solo record but couldn’t make it happen timing-wise,” reveals DiMino. “Though the five of us stayed friends, it was surreal to be back in a room after all these years. It didn’t take long to return to our roles, for the personalities to mesh again.”
…“For Punky it’s a whole new start but things are slightly different for me because I’ve kept my hand in by singing here, there and everywhere,” Frank laughs. “I’m already writing some new stuff with Paul Crook [Meat Loaf/Anthrax, producer of the debut] for a second solo record. I’m just getting moving on that.”
DiMino and Meadows remained buddies since Angel’s breakup in 1981. Due to scheduling issues the video for Never Again was filmed in Vegas, while the director visited North Carolina to shoot Punky separately. “You can’t tell the difference,” Frank believes, “Paul [Gervasi] did a really nice job.”
Meanwhile, the DiMino band are set to make their live debut at the Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood on October 21, playing solo songs and tunes from the Angel catalogue.

Dio Disciples were joined onstage at Wacken by a hologram of the late singer Ronnie James Dio.
The surprise stunt took place towards the end of the band’s set at the German festival last night (August 6) as 75,000 fans saw Dio reunite with former members of his band via hologram for a performance of We Rock .
The production was a year in the making and the firm behind the idea, Eyellusion, say it was “the first time a hologram has been accompanied by a live band in a traditional concert setting.”
Future shows with the Dio hologram are being planned by the band.
Ronnie’s widow Wendy, who also manages Dio Disciples and works with Eyellusion, says, “When I first experienced the full production of Ronnie performing with his band as a hologram, I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears. With Eyellusion, we have been able to get Ronnie back up on stage where he belongs, ensuring that his music and memory live on. I want Ronnie’s fans around the world to share this experience.”
Dio Disciples lead guitarist Craig Goldy adds, “We know how much the fans miss Ronnie and the special and unequaled element that he brought to his live performances. Being able to recreate that same kind of magic for his fans at Wacken was incredible. For so many years Ronnie always invested big in his live shows as his way to give back to the fans, and that is exactly what we aimed to do with this latest performance. We can’t wait to bring this experience to even more of his fans and perhaps even a newer generation when we bring this incredible live experience on the road next year.”
Dio Disciples say they hope to take the hologram on tour, with a rotating set of around 14 songs.
