AEROSMITH JOINED BY JOHNNY DEPP AT BAND’S BOSTON HOMETOWN SHOW
On the third date (July 16th) of this summer’s Let Rock Rule North American summer tour, Aerosmith fans saw a special collaboration between the band and good friend Johnny Depp. The performance–at the Xfinity Center in the band’s Boston hometown–featured a guest spot from Depp on the band’s Train Kept a-Rollin. Depp last performed the song with the band at their August 2012 sold-out Hollywood Bowl show in Los Angeles.
Let Rock Rule, this summer’s definitive rock experience, features rock’s most lethal army–Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Joey Kramer, Tom Hamilton, and Brad Whitford–and special guest Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The began Thursday, July 10th at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, NY and will make stops in Los Angeles, CA (The Forum), San Francisco, CA (Sleep Train Pavilion), Chicago (First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre), Denver, CO (Pepsi Center), Dallas, TX (American Airlines Center) and Atlanta, GA (Phillips Arena) before wrapping Friday, September 12th in Sydney, NS, Canada (Open Hearth Park).

Ugh. Why was he on their album and why is he joining them onstage? Any other celebrities joining Aerosmith on this tour?
Maybe next Ryan Seacrest could belt out Walk this Way, while Paula Abdul provides an interpretative dance.
Depp is also on the latest Marilyn Manson album. He is truly a rock fan. I saw him at an Aerosmith post party in LA
I’m truly a rock fan too. Yet I’m not getting any invitations to appear on albums. Guess I need to check with my mailman.
That was kind of my point also. He’s not getting invited on stage or on albums because of his guitar playing, although he is a true fan of the music. I would like to hear him play unaccompanied sometime.
Depp had a band, I’ve met him a few times, he could form another one and ride it.
