August 26th, Metlife Stadium, we’re gonna “Rock The House”, AC/DC style! š
Totally pumped to catch this on the first night, 10 minutes from my house. Totally not pumped if the opening acts according to Ticketmaster are correct: Tim McGraw, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Jake Owen. If topping Judas Priest for the “worst opener(s) ever” award (Steel Panther) was their goal-mission accomplished!
Should be Airbourne since Priest didn’t have them open for them.

I agree Dana, it should be Airbourne! Never heard of those others, and don’t want to! š
Dana, that is a good choice as well. I certainly can’t argue with that.
I was guessing Airbourne would be coming off the road this year to start work on a new album but they announced a bunch of tour dates for this year. So they’re still out there on tour. If they were to open for AC/DC then the US might finally wake up and discover how great Airbourne is. Plus, they are #1 on my list of bands I haven’t seen live. An AC/DC and Airbourne tour would be a dream come true!
Me too James,
But it seems like they hardly ever tour in the States, and if they do, they usually only play festivals.

Nothing near me either. But be patient, it’s only the beginning. This tour is in HUGE demand so I’m sure promoters will milk it for all they can.
Bands this old are not going to do many shows. If you really want to see AC/DC many are going to have to take a road trip
If these dates turn out to be it for the tour, then it looks like I may have to get over my incredible fear of flying and book a flight to a show. The Foxborough and E. Rutherford shows are close to my birthday, so maybe one of those shows could be my birthday present to myself as long as I don’t freak out on the plane!
Interesting…… 7 Canadian dates…….6 US dates….
