8/29: WEEKEND RECAP, JASON NEWSTED & MICHAEL SWEET ON TRUNK NATION TONIGHT
Just back from a long weekend with appearances in Syracuse and the Cleveland area. In Syracuse I did a promo appearance for my affiliate there 105.9 The Rebel that included a stop at a club called Sharkey’s where Joey Belladonna played with his cover band Chief Big Way. Lot of fun and good to see Joey belting out the classic rock so well, while he also played drums! Thanks to Bob Staffa and Dave Frisina for having me and all the fans I met in that area.
This past Saturday I was a guest host at a party in Doylestown OH called the Ferraintti Fest, named after two brothers who passed away and were big metal fans. Their friend Jim throws a MASSIVE party on his property each year in their honor. It was amazing and a very cool thing for Jim to do for his late friends. The live music included some great tribute and cover bands as well as a set by Tim Ripper Owens who was in great voice as usual. Fun day and it was an honor to be a part of it. Met many cool rock fans!
Off to NYC. Live show on SiriusXM today 6-10P ET on channel 39. Guests include Michael Sweet and Jason Newsted. Many have asked what happened to Jason. Tune in and find out. Michael at 6:30, Jason on 8P ET live.
It was a real treat to meet you this past weekend in Doylestown and discuss Rock N Roll!!!!! The venue was 5 miles from my home and I heard it on your podcast…..Way cool!!!

Eddie, are you hitting the AC/DC show at the Garden? My God is Axl tearing it up with that band! I’m making the 5 hr drive to Detroit for the show next Friday…
