    Ezrin worked with Peter, this smug English prick just brings in Anton and re does the drums on Alive II, that record is nothing more than a frisbee to me now…I actually hope I never listen to KIss ever again.

      I think you misunderstood Kramer. Peter’s LIVE parts weren’t rerecorded by Anton. It is only that Peter (just like Ace on the same record with the studio songs) didn’t play on all of the 4th side tracks.

    Eddie, I am requesting that you track down Corky Stasiak who engineered Alive II and kept a daily diary with detailed notes of who did what to clear this up. A lot of people don’t believe Kramer, I am inclined to, however, because of his role on the record. I would track Corky down myself if I could. This may seem silly to some people, but this stuff is important; it’s like finding out you were adopted as a kid.

      That would be great!

    But he said that Anton was already there because they were fixing up the live tracks; thus, since he was there already (fixing the live drum parts), they used him for side 4. Now there’s this crazy stuff on Wiki about other drummers on Alive II and this is just out of hand now. We need Corky Stasiak to set the record straight; he kept a diary. This would pretty much ruin one of the only good memories I had as a kid. It’s bad enough Ace isn’t on three songs, this just would throw this record right over the edge. I don’t think I could ever get into the band again…I mean, the freaking live records? is nothing sacred? No, we’re just the dumb fans who get duped.

    Does Van Halen use other musicians? Would you put up with them if they did? When you paid for Creatures of the Night didn’t you presume that Ace was the lead guitarist for Kiss? I did; his face is plastered on the cover! And we just give them a pass because “it’s Kiss,” “it’s still Kiss,” “well it’s Kiss so it must ok..” what total b.s…

    Oh Eddie, so it was you who was responsible for Paul playing Magic Touch & A Million To One on his most recent solo tour? I used to be a big fan of yours. But over the years your self important persona has worn thin with me.
    To quote Metal Sucks: “In a recent video clip from the Kiss Expo in Atlanta, Trunk was a guest to do Q&A which started with his own introduction to the crowd. The video is just over an hour long, and Trunk’s intro (of himself) is roughly 7 minutes.
    Inside that 7 minute window, Trunk talks about himself using words like; me, my, I, I’m, I’ll, I’ve, his name Eddie Trunk and his show name Trunk Nation a total of 91 times.
    We broke some of these counts down here for you below.
    I = 49 times
    Me = 12 times
    I’m = 7 times
    My = 6 times
    We = 11 times”
    I appreciate the work you’ve done championing rock n roll over the years. But as time goes by, your tweets, comments you make during your shows and in interviews, etc, seem to be more focused on making yourself look cool or more important than the music, band or person you’re talking about in the first place. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. I mean no disrespect. I’m simply stating my opinion based on my personal observations. The self important one, Eddie Trunk. No thank you anymore.

      So sorry Frank that you feel offended by me telling stories most people enjoy of my 35 years in the business.. I understand some have jealousy and haters will find a way to hate. Sad reality. So you took the time to visit my website, log in, have a membership to post, to disparage me? Quite a commitment. Thanks. As for your statements YES I did tell Paul to play those songs, and YES he did tell me I put them in his head at the time and played them on my suggestion. I was making a Kiss list and talking about it in that context. But if you want to hate always better to pull things out of context right? Of course.. I’m also flattered you, or a site called “Metal Sucks”, or anyone for that matter, would invest the time to dissect a speech I was hired to give about….ME AND MY CAREER! So why the fuck would I not be talking about me when that’s exactly what I was brought there to do?!? Sorry, again, pay no attention to context.. doesn’t work for your agenda clearly. I’ve spent 35 years supporting every artists projects, sorry you can’t handle that sometimes people want to know about me and my stories and hire me to tell them. Or even buy my books to hear them. Or listen to my 6 national radio shows to hear them..or hire me to appear and speak about them.. So sorry this upsets you. Please take your agenda elsewhere, it’s ridiculous and baseless.

    • Mr. Rock And Roll on

      I for one enjoy hearing Eddie’s take on things and his opinions, his stories of what got him in to a band, etc etc. It’s because he is exactly like the rest of us, a music nerd. Exactly like us, but apparently not you. Who else is out there championing this great music? Who else does it right? I am not writing this to kiss his ass, I never met the guy but I think I would have a hell of a fun time talking music over a few beers with him, as would many others.

    • Doug on

      Frank T. repeat after me, “I will never, ever, ever talk trash about Eddie!” Just wrong!!! BTW, Mr. Trunk certainly put you in your place, 🙂
