We can’t get a gig so let us form a band to pay our rent. You’ll see more of this jive in ’14.

I didn’t know this was news. Let’s see, other than Dizzy Reid and a “Slash contribution” ( the song is eh), it features a singer that replaced the replacement singer in INXS, a guitarist that was in the Guns n Roses fake version of the band, a guitarist from Mink ( a dance music sounding-no name group), a bassist from a reformed Thin Lizzy in the 2000’s and played with Blue Murder for 2 years and a drummer that toured with Nine Inch Nails for Part of a tour. Talk about trying to USE a bands’ name to further your “career”

      Pretty much sums it up.

It’s amazing how critical some people are being. Yes, they are trying to further their career, which is what all of us do in life (unless you’re a lazy slob who lives in his parent’s basement and is perfectly fine with your job at Long John Silver’s). These guys are all musicians and they’ve all had experience playing in professional level bands; perhaps, not at their peak and they’re not original members, but still..Of course, they’re going to tout their collective experience and drop names (it would be stupid not to do so). Marco Mendoza is a great bass player the singer sounds pretty killer. It’s a pretty good song and it sounds like a pretty solid lineup of musicians. They’re not a ‘supergroup’, by any means, but they’ve been out their playing, paying their dues, and trying to make a living at doing what they love to do. Few bands manage to keep all their original members, whether they’re local bands or bands that have made a name for themselves and who record and tour for a living. I think some of you need to get off your high horses and come back down to reality. What bands have you played in (do you even play an instrument)? Get over yourselves. So easy to criticize others from the safety of your keyboards. Where’s the link to your music? Where are you playing this weekend?

Where am I playing this wknd? Do I now need to be in a band or have a single to post a comment Don? How about you get over yourself? We’re all adults here Donny. We can say what we want. Just because I call bullshit on 8 guys who are riding the coattails of other guys’ bands in order to get press you think I’m on the high horse? They use the names of these bands in order to bluff the lesser known music fan. Maybe I would do the same in that position, but I’m not in that position so I’ll call bullshit when I see it.

I can t think of anything to say. I’m absolutely fucking speechless. This Dizzy has been a major part of the last 3 most ridiculous stories on this very good and informative website. HOOKERS N BLOW clothing, leaked bassist sung songs, and now this fucking nonsense. Dizzy is becoming like an awful version of the very talented Warren Haynes. Are you kidding me? Who are those guys in that picture? NINE INCH NAILS is one guy and that is not him. There is hope, there not coming any further east than Illinois. They look like paternity test takers on a show about woman who fuck retards.
