Yngwie Malmsteen soon coming to a town near you. He says “You’re welcome”.

Yngwie is the greatest guitarist in the world. Just ask him…he’ll even tell you himself.

LOL!!! So, it’s a no go for you?

I sense sarcasm…you know he has been anointed, right? By himself.

    • Dana on

      LOL!!

Hi Dana, no I won’t go to any more Yngwie’s shows. I saw Yngwie perform one of his nine live shows with Steeler and I caught an Yngwie show while he was touring for his Rising Force album, which I actually like. Since then, he just wanks on his guitar…..

      I was kidding. 🙂

I saw him once at L’Amour, in Brooklyn, circa the late 80’s. I don’t remember much, but that his playing was amazing, but also self indulgent and overkill.

    F–k Yngwie! Sorry, not a fan, B-O-R-I-N-G!!!

Interesting. I like John5, Nita Strauss, & other stuff, but never really cared for Malmsteen.
Had a compilation cd of him once. I think I may have listened to the whole hour plus duration of it, but didn’t listen to it again & got rid of it.

    No-way malmsteen

    • Rattlehead on

Robert, was your post a “play” on the Steeler song “No Way Out” that was co credited to Yngwie?

I can’t decide if I want to go see Yngwie J. Malmsteen..or a REALLY REALLY fast typist on tour.

    • Dana on

      LOL!

I saw Yngwie once… three times. (Let’s see you figure that out!)

    • Dana on

That is headscratcher…You saw him on a Guitar tour with others?

    • Rattlehead on

I think DJH means Yngwie played the same guitar wanking at all three shows?

    • Dana on

      Makes sense…

    • Taskerofpuppets on

It was the same show 3 times???
