More karma for Crue for lying to their fans about their “Cessation of Touring ” agreement.

With another postponement, I wish Mick good health so he can perform…..

Not sure if it was a lie, I think at the time of that “agreement” they really believed it was “The End,” but eventually, I don’t think they really knew how much they would miss playing together live. The Crue aren’t the first band to change their minds about touring, just look at KISS! Remember the “farewell tour” in 2000? And at least the Crue are still the Crue! 😉 If there’s still some gas left in the tank, I say let’s get “On With The Show!”

      Rattle,

I agree with you, I am not a fan of the “retiring” shtick, it’s so annoying.

Ironically, my crush John Sykes never said he was retiring, but sadly, he acts like he has-LOL!

      D 🙂

Again, I don’t think it was a gimmick, I think at the time they were serious, but after “The Dirt,” I think it was a combination of the demand from the die-hards wanting 1 more tour, and the Crue just realizing that they really weren’t ready to retire after all.

The interest in Crue from “The Dirt” movie has totally waned. In 2022 when this tour starts, it will further wane. They’re lucky tickets purchased a long while ago will still be honored, cuz I seriously doubt there would be as many interested Crue ticket purchasers in 2022.

The question is….” Can Vince keep off the 50 lbs. he lost for this tour? “..last I saw him he really had ” Looks That Kill “

    • tom on

the real question is can he at least sing?.i went to theater of pain tour with loudness at msg. 1984,85? he couldnt sing live back then either, but at least some of it was in english.

Vince Meal can’t sing song lyrics clearly anymore and can’t remember the lyrics for most Crue songs. Watching past Crue concerts online, his vocal abilities are terrible.

      Vince Meal-LOL!!!!

the shame of it is this,we and a lot of the fans are not kids anymore either,im 60 and my health is not that great either, when i bought my tickets for the show it was almost 3 years ago it gets harder and harder to move around these days, at this stage of the game a few years does matter, not like when we were kids.and the band is at that age as well,i was iffy about mick, and i agree tubby looks like he can care less about his weight ,i wanted to get a refund but because they just keep putting the shows off you can’t get a refund so your screwed .what a shame

Ok, so Vince is a fat “Bastard,” and he can’t sing, whoever said he could? Vince himself knows he’s no Sammy Hagar. There are other even bigger names out there still trying to “sing,” like Paul Stanley, and David Lee Roth, you can’t expect them to sound like they did in the ’80s, even Vince! I actually think Vince sounds surprisingly good on the “Carnival Of Sins” DVD, of course his voice was enhanced, but he still sounds pretty good.

    • tom on

he’s also a skinny bastard that drunk drove a guy into an early grave that cant sing..
fat, skinny, drunk, sober, married, divorced. he cant sing….. basically he can’t sing.

    • Doug R. on

Tom, why bring up and live in the past? Once again, NOBODY is saying that Vince can “sing,” he’s screechy, annoying, and irritating at times, but the Crue are a fun live band, some great songs and a really great guitarist, take Vince’s voice or leave it.
