Saxon have announced a mini U.S. tour, following their incredibly successful trek with Judas Priest earlier this year and prior to their appearance on the 2019 Monsters Of Rock cruise out of Florida.

Saxon frontman Biff Byford said in a statement, “We’re bringing the Thunderbolt tour back to the USA in February, this time as headliners! Come and join the party. The Thunderbolt cometh!”

The dates are as follows:

  1. “Where were you in ’79 when the dam began to burst?” How can one not get pumped up listening to the song “Denim and Leather”?! That song simply tells the story of my, and others, teenage lives!!

    Saxon is still melting faces almost 40 years since the release of their first album. And I think their latest release, “Thunderbolt”, is as fantastic as their classic era releases! Great, great NWOBHM band that should have had greater success.
