If this question was posed to me back in the 80s or the early 90s, my answer would have been, I think I could do it, but it would be very difficult.
Today? A week would be a cake walk. I have gone weeks, and sometimes a couple of months, without listening to music. I tend to watch lots of TV, and podcasts, so that would be a far bigger crutch for me to give up for even a couple of days, let alone a week.
As for what I would use to break my audio fast? Other than it being upbeat and kick ass, I don’t know. My guess would be something from AC/DC, Van Halen, Priest, Lynch Mob, Ratt or even Airbourne?

Dana, if my initial reply came through and THAT is what you’re talking about, I will look to see if I can find it. If so, I’m sorry if I repeated myself. Navigating websites has never been a strength lol
Hi Dana, I realized I repeated myself. I’m sorry about the confusion!
No worries.
Military training often would prevent hearing music for days/weeks. I remember a group of us in a parking lot…trunk open …popping beers, ‘For Those About to Rock’ pumping out of my car speakers would be first, followed by ‘Metal Gods.’ (my cassette after all) and ‘Go For the Throat’ TT Quick.
This would be really hard for me. I always have music playing in the background when I’m at work, and there’s almost always a song ringing in my head. For some reason, yesterday it was Molly Hatchet’s “Flirtin’ with Disaster.” Why? I have absolutely no explanation. But that’s the awesomeness of music!
