Definitely, John Sykes (to quote Valley Of The Kings, “a thousand times over.”) and Tora Tora.
I know many people who thought Kix should have had greater success. Also, Tyketto was a pretty good band, who flew under the radar. Danger Danger, because of Andy Timmons. There are so many, but if something strikes me, I will update my list.

King’s X.
Immediately came here to write King’s X. Listened to King’s X/Ty Tabor albums while at gym this morning.
I think I’ve said this before on this site, but I’m going to say it again: Thunder (UK band).
First band that comes to mind is definitely Triumph! Underrated, underestimated, underappreciated! There are other bands/artists as well, but right now I’m too busy to think! 😉
OMG! Dana is going to kill me! AIRBOURNE!! How could I forget about AIRBOURNE?!?! Sorry, D! 🙂
Agreed! I’ve always thought that some sports team should use Live It Up as their intro music.
I love Airbourne. ❤️❤️❤️
IMO, so many to mention….
Armored Saint
Saxon
Diamond Head
Riot
And, lastly, while I’m selfishly glad they didn’t achieve more commercial success (cuz of Lips’ untrue remarks about Americans), the band Anvil. Too bad, too, cuz i used to love their first three albums. Now I never listen to them…and never will again. But, I did think they had the talent/songs for greater success.
